Hey Skeet. I'm kinda new here, so here's my introduction.
My name is Dan. I live in Illinois where I attend the University of Illinois College of Engineering. I'm about 6'2" with blond hair and blue eyes. I enjoy music, movies, and my favorite sport is ice hockey. I also enjoy long walks on the beach and candle-lit dinner (for the ladies).
I play on Vallon Zek and a wee bit on Firiona Vie. My main is a 47 ranger at the moment. Plus, a friend and I just started out own guild, so if you're on VZ, look up the Pirates of Zek, yar.

Not too new to these forums, registered in Oct 2000 and probably posted 100 times max. But I have used this site to keep up on EQ even though I don't really play too much anymore.
I'm 28, squandered my young adulthood travelling the States. Spent a year in Boulder, a year in Raleigh NC, two years in Bloomington IN (home of IU and only designated liberal bastion of Indiana) a year between Honolulu and the big island and about 3 in Louisville, my current anf former home.
I've been a student, ASP/VB/VBS programmer, SQL DBA, waiter, bartender, musician, caddy (really), caretaker for elderly alzheimer's couple, bumb, tolkein scholar, chronic ************ pot head, gambler, psuedophilosopher and politician.
Now I am a full time news junky, part time musician, full time waiter. No kids, no wife. Just a girlfriend this side of crack *****. She's pretty nice though and doesn't ask much of me except an ear, and luckily I have 2 rather big ones. I no longer play EQ except for an odd couple hours a week.
Ambitions are to buy as house with a finished basement to build a recording studio in, see Bush unseated and go back to get a law degree.

After thinking about it for awhile, I finally created a char and joined, but my very first day was a Kael raid gone bad. My oh my the colorful language and arguing that day! I decided it wasn't for me at the time. Anyhow, have very much enjoyed the week-end updates and all the other goings on of the board. I never posted at the old board, but decided the new board would be a good time to start. So... pleased to meet all of you!!!

I just realized that I didn't actually say anything about myself in my previous post. I'm 22 years old, originally from FL but since leaving there I lived in Monterey CA for about a year, lived in BFE TX for about 7 months and currently live in NC.
