This is a thread for anybody new to the forum to introduce themselves, and a chance for us to get to know you.

Welcome, tell us a little about yourself.

Edit: Spelling is fun.

No, it's really not. Skeet takes his duties as Queen quite seriously. This is him being a "Benevolent Queen."

Ooh, oooh! I'm new!!!

Hi, my name is Tare. I like romantic dinners, horseback riding, talking with friends and going for ice creams with that special someone. If you think you could be my new special friend, send naked photos of yourself to my e-mail address. Hope we can be best friends soon!

Welcome, Lady jewelofmh. Although I have to say I'd be happier to see you if you were Lady jewelofMcD's.

You forgot to tell us a little something about yourself.

You can start with what mh is. And why it's not McD's. Does mh serve burgers? I hope so.

Mount Holly (town in NJ)

Sorry the town itself doesn't sell hamburgers but has a strip with every fast food joint doing business in NJ (legally and illegally I believe)

Nothing much to tell. I spend way too much time on EverQuest and related sites (or so I was told by my daugher repeatedly prior to buying her her own computer and installing EQ). I'm not a stealth geek, I revel in my geekiness and bear it as a badge of honor!

I'm told I have a keen sense of humor but now realize I've not even achieved amateur status.

This is my second day on forums and will definitely be returning!

Duly edited, will not happen again.

Tare, you freak.Smiley: wink2

So I know I'm not new, but I give it up for the Queen and the well-being of all His subjects(trust me, he gets cranky when he's low on lovin') so if you think that gives me a false sense of entitlement... Well, you're right.

Two words for you, Tare - Hubba Hubba!!

Your presence classes up the joint!

Smiley: bowdown Smiley: bowdown Smiley: bowdown

Well, ok, ANY woman visiting this site classes up the joint, still, you definitely raised the bar...

Wait...do you hear that? That's the sound of a thousand geeks sighing at their monitors and steaming up their glasses...

Usually we don't get on people for spelling and grammar, but I'm the Queen and can do what I want. So.... that being said.

Enlighten me please.

By "EQ and related sights", do you mean you see things that are EQ related, like a life size model of a Treant? Have a statue of Emperor Crush in your living room? Or did ya mean site?Smiley: smile

Don't worry though, as a newcomer, I give you a "Smash's get out of misspelled word and/or bad grammar" cardtm. Has 5 uses, I just stamped one out for ya.

Now, onto your Toon's name.

What language are you borrowing from for the "Kae" part?

To me, that is pronounced "Kay", and would therefore render your name to sound weird.

Well, at least you recognize funny when you see it! I don't like to think of different types of humor as better or worse, just different.

You may speak.

How do you like me now, you hunka-hunka-burnin'-love?

Johiel, I don't know if the links are work safe. I am so hot, it might melt computer monitors everywhere. /shrug

Sorry Joph, already edited my message.

I thought you were talking about Lord xythex. My bad.

Thought I saw a chance to poke at you and took it before really looking over the thread. But, as Queen, I forgive myself.

Well you can call me Malkindred or whatever you feel like at the moment, I won't get too upset and if I do I know where I can go :).

Gave up on EQ quite a while back but a few of us decided to get back into it so I'm currently on Maelin Starpyre server playing my lvl 16 chanty. Be sure and say hi when you see me and I'll cast some stupid spell on you, give you some rings and send you on your way.

Not much of a poster but I try and do better if you promise to keep it interesting.

Now I'll slip back into my hole and wait for the barrage of harassment to start.
