My older child has been using "apparently" as a verbal tic. I probably overuse it myself but he drops it like a 1984 Valley Girl saying "like".
That was Hannah about two years ago. Now she oddly misues the phrase 'at least" to mean anything good. "At least we're having chicken tonight." "At least I scored a goal playing soccer" etc. Also she (usually correctly) tries to use the word "ominous" as frequently as possible.
