I see threads 'n' all, but can't really seem to make myself open them.
Name something interesting about last week. Last night, I went to a house in DC with my Roommate, I was brought there to listen to the music they are doing in their play, and to give any advice, hints, tips, etc. It was good because before last night I was starting to miss the drama days, but really, I find I can't stand 90 percent of people who "do drama". Does being into acting mean that you have to smell, smoke 2 packs a day, have long dirty hair, unkept facial hair(some of the women too), and clothes that look like you found them in a dumpster behind a homeless shelter?
Not only that, but I can't find an acting company out here that actually does good plays, they're all trying to be "new" and "hip" and "deep", I hate plays that try to be deep, you can't just "be deep", it's an effect, caused by multiple things, but "being deep" isn't one of them.
On top of that, my roommate somehow got laid(not that I'm hating, Flea was waiting for me in my bed and that's more than enough to please me), he wore a wife beater, with a button up shirt over it(un-buttoned), he's naturally very loud, even more so when he's been drinking(which he took the liberty of doing since I was driving), and has the same 5 "jokes" he tells over and over and over, not that they were funny to begin with. I'll give you some of his best stuff.
(Here is a cheer)
"Here's to the fire, not to the fire that brings down shanties, but to the fire that brings down panties!"
or another winner:
"Here's to (insert name here of girl you are trying to bang) she's true blue, she's a real *******, so they say, was supposed to go to heaven but instead went the other way so Down down down down ! And I assume(as is all that I can do with such great literary arts) that you are supposed to start chugging your drink at the "down down down " part.
Long story short; What's going on here?
