Sup all,
I know XIV has made some people worried about the future of XI, but i'm sure XI will be around for a good while still after XIV's release. That being said,just wondering who all from Cerberus is going to play FFXIV also? If so, who all would possibly try to be on the same XIV server?

I know some ls mates and friends who are all planning on being in the same server, I will probably be joining them as well. To me this is all too far away still though.

I will for sure try out the new game, and I am looking forward to it. But it is still far out that I have it is kind of silly to worry what FFXIV is actually be. I still see at least over 1 1/4 year the game will even come out, and that is a bloody long time.
For me, even the reaction of the FFXI community is not unexpected, but it is, imo, very irrational. And I personally know no other way to present FFXIV to FFXI community that will not generate the silly reaction that it may have. Anyway, as for now, my game plan for FFXI is still unchanged. If there is one thing, I wanted FFXI players that will try FFXIV approach FFXIV as another game, and that is to drop whatever altitude they build up on FFXI ... at least for a while.

I'm going to play the new one. Actually, I can't wait for the new one to come out. By then, my life should have stabilized enough to where I have time to do so, as FFXI was an enormous time-sink, I would assume the new one is going to be the same way.
