What race are you and what race is your NPC friend?Follow

Heres another 'pointless' topic, but heck, I'm bored. Lets give our NPC adventuring buddies some love.

I'm kind of just trying to find out the basic choices of NPC's that people go for based on sex (male/female) and race (Hume/Taru/Elvaan/Galka/Mithra), followed by how long you've had your NPC and how much you use it, and what weapons you usually give them.

So lets begin shall we?

As stated in my "sig" I'm a Hume/M, and my NPC is a black haired Hume/F named Jesimae. Originally I started out with an Elvaan/F but when she started looking too much like a "Bond" girl (James Bond ya hosers...), and stood about 1' over my poor medium sized hume, I decided to change it quick.

Anyways, as for how much I use my NPC... Well that would be about once a day on my signal pearl, and maybe more on my tactics pearl, so I'm always leveling up with it. So much so that one time it actually dinged 37 which was higher than any of my other jobs at the time. Pretty much I now dual pt with my NPC as either THF or BLU with her set to "Healer" to level up. Fitted with an Axe and Shield seems to be a really nice combo no matter what job my NPC takes up.

I finally did this quest last weekend to get my NPC. I am an Elvaan Male and my NPC is a Mithra Female. I read that race does not matter when it comes to your NPC stats, so I decided to choose an NPC that was appealing to the eyes (as opposed to constantly having to stare at my big old ugly Elvaan a$$ in my Subligar /shudder)

I got her only a few days ago and have been learning how to level her up effectively. I have been reading all the guides about it.

I am very pleased with it; it is kind of fun to take her out and level her, and I can definitely see how it will benefit me in the long run.

I really wish I did this quest a long time ago, but oh well...

Alii is the redheaded Mithra with the upswept hair and my NPC is lv 39 and also a Mithra - the cute little blonde wit the piggy tails! ^^

Tatsuki - Mithra, brown hair tied up at the back (5B, I think)
Sayhu - Exactly the same as Tatsuki.

I used my NPC mostly for levelling BST through the twenties (I'm 32BST now, my sig is slightly out of date). I'd call her, stick an exp ring on, call CrabFamiliar and trio the worms in Korrokola. Made the mid-20 levels go so fast.

Muy has a pinche guera ****!! LOL!!

I'm the shortest taru on cerberus. I'm a guy. My NPC buddy is Kalokoko, a taru F. She has red hair. She hit things with a stick. Sometimes she whispers to other adventurers and gives me funny looks... I don't think she likes me...

Hehe, I'm lucky~ My NPC loves me so much she once threw her life away so that I could live... It was so heroic! *sniff* I think my NPC wants to do things to me, cos she keeps healing me constantly, and removing my negative status as much as possible... I've heard stories that other NPC's hardly do anything in "Healer" mode too...
