KS30 - Double DragonianFollow

First up: to the people that came with me on the last run, I have the money for the items I sold. I was out of the country for 10 days due to work and didn't get stuff sold before I left.

Secondly: I've burned 150 seals so far trying to get destroyers. If anyone out there is doing a KS30 with this weapon as a potential drop, please let me know. I will make it worth your while. I keep hearing of people say "we got 3 of them and threw them away".

In the 7-8 runs I did on double dragonian, I have only seen one pair of destroyers drop. It dropped on one of my own pearls. but the funny thing is I more or less gave these up for a friend and fellow mnk. Funny story behind that one >.>

Some people that know me like to make fun of me for how badly I want these... They are very important to a monk, being the final undisputed best weapon in game for a DD job (other then relic) ^^ But I am in the "friends > gear" mindset and I am getting by fine with indras for the most part, so while it stung to let them go, it was no biggie really.

But at some point I do want to get them. So once again if anyone is planning KS30 double dragonian or copycat and don't need the destroyers, PLEASE let me know. ^^ Thanks

I am actually thinking of doing "copy cat" next, since this has a very common drop worth 2M (fuma sune-ate). I am not doing these for the money, but if these are profitable it is a lot more worthwhile for people to help.

I heard those boots drop about 80% of the time (like the harp in double dragonian, but the harp is only 3k. The 2M boots are very nice). And that's on top of d.ingots and d.cloth,

The other reason to do copycat is that the coffinmaker drops here, which should be of interest to the up and coming COR flood out there. Once it is unlocked, the coffinmaker is the top gun in the game for COR.

I have over 90 Kseals... never done a KS... but wouldn't mind getting some damascene cloth... dunno how splitting the loot would work tho :-\

KS30 are most commonly done the same way BCNM are. Everyone brings an orb, and all items and sold and split. When I did them, I would bring several orbs and the helpers would get a money share even if they don't have orbs.

The alternate method is that people keep what drops on their orb run, but doing it this way is sure to make some people VERY miserable. One run can be a few hundred thousand gil and the next will be in the millions.

For rare/ex drops in them, that is typically agreed upon in advance. They have no cash value (unless someone tags along without an orb and wants to buy it).

But no matter what happens, make sure everyone knows the lotting rules up front. And do it with friends if possible.

I myself wanted a Rare-Ex Katana for future NIN use. If you are going to a KS run, I will be able to support an orb. And yes I have over 200 beastmen seals.... I am trying to get people to go to the Sahgin 60 and Peacock Charm 40 BC @_@

I too am interested in p.charm BCNM. I have an L40 nin leveled exclusively for that fight :O

As for the katana, if it is the Senjuinrikio you will have a very easy time with that one. There are about 40 Senjuinrikio thrown away on our server every single day since it is a common drop from Desert Swarm.

Sadly that katana doesn't come from copy cat ; ;

I could actually use a Subduer from this KSNM. I even have plenty of K. Seals and could contribute an orb... so if anyone is doing a run, lemme know. (Not that I even know if DRK is a good job for this KSNM)
