I am playing on a xbox 360 and im using a wireless router and sometimes i can stay online for hour but most of the time i lose my connection every 20 minutes can some one please tell me some advice that will make it so i can stay online as long as i want?
Open your menu, go to Config.
I cannot remember the exact menu and name but you are looking for an option for "Idle-disconnect time".
I believe the default setting is 20 minutes. You can change this to never log you out of the server.

no its when im playing its really anoying i get im to a good party and to screen will go black and it will say connection lost or that i cant connect to my server every time this happens i have to re-boot my wireless it is slowing down my lvling time it happens at least 20 times a day i need to get this fixed!
With XBox live there are very specific firmware revisions on routers. I suggest to go to the website of whomever makes your router and get the proper firmware.
