Avatar Primes - Anyone interested?Follow

I need Titan, Garuda and Shiva whispers to get my moon bauble still... so if you could keep Nebz in mind, she's a lvl 63 (almost 64) smn that is occasionally on. If I'm never on when you go, no biggie... but if you could send a tell my way if you see me online, I'd be happy to help since I love big boss fights like this and rarely get the chance to do them :(.

Also, would need help getting Fenrir, as I'm sure you would as well...

Oh, might I add one thing tho... it's cool you're fighting the primes for your avatar's so you can have them as lvl 1 smn... but spirits are actually cheaper (mp wise) than the primes in the first 6 levels or so. However, I'm sure having Shiva to do a Blizzard II MB is much nicer than having only healing ruby or poison nails...

If, and that is IF i had all tuning forks i would gladly solo all the avatar primes during there weak days. Problem is i have been to lazy collecting the tuning forks. Maybe if i do i wont mind helping out. Ill repost if i get them all.
Note: doesnt mean i can solo Fenrir, but i know i can beat the other avatars in order to obtain a moon bauble.

Last night Flamewolfzero, Cathiel, Mazman, Soldja, Philow and a few others helped me take down Ifrit, Shiva, and Ramuh primes. Thanks a lot to those people. Very good job on Ramuh, I must say- to Mazman and Philow. It was just the three of us-- NIN73, SMN64, & BRD60. We made it look so easy, save for me getting wiped [twice]. Ramuh didn't like my singing I guess. Not like a BRD60 will have trouble getting that back ^.~

So now, I need to get Garuda and Leviathan out of the way. To those I missed in this thread last night, I still need to fight them all again if I want to get Fenrir. My SMN is still only level 8, and I'd prefer not to jump in a party at 9 or 10 without my purple pooch.

I'll review this thread tonight before I form a party for Garuda and/or Leviathan. I'd rather go with players who need to defeat them as well. I'm hoping to do these all again and Fenrir within a week's time.

Last night I saw no one on this thread asking to come along, so I asked LS mates. We only had time for one fight and chose Garuda. 75WHM/BLM, 74WAR/NIN, 73NIN/WAR, 60BRD/WHM, 59WHM/BLM ~ This went well, except for the lower WHM and I getting one-shotted by Garuda's 2hr. ><

I have a friend who said he's doing all primes tonight. Probably my chance to get some repeats done, but most importantly to me-- Get Levithan fight done. Waiting and playing SMN the old school way, obtaining avatars by fighting primes.. it deserves respect. I never imagined the complexity of the series of prime fights, even though I've planned to do it this way since my first day on FFXI over 2 years ago.

With that said, much respect to SMNs all over who went this route.

I need a whisper from all primes except Leviathan. Maybe we can do Ramuh this coming weekend Damimi...

Okay, I'm gonna hold off on doing these whisper fights til at least Friday night. If you want to find me I'll most likely be leveling SMN or BST on Attracta, but if not /sea all Gouryella ...I've been missing PLD and may work on those levels a bit.
