I'm sorry for just coming out of the woodwork and posting like this, but I'm really unsure as to how to ask for help on this problem, or what I should be doing, and I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice or point me in the right direction.
For those of you that don't know me, I'm Wafuru, the slightly crazy 66 RDM/60 BLM. I love my Linkshell dearly, but I'm one of the higher level people in it, and we just don't have the manpower to take Fenrir on amongst ourselves.
I got my Moon Bauble recently--and I was just wondering--what level should I be to try and put a party together for this? If I could get a party of Summoners, would it be, not to say safe, but could I go as my Red Mage, or am I still too low?
And as I say that, are there any Summoners out there who might be willing to help me fight this guy? I'm sorry that I don't have too much to offer you, but I would be willing to buy all the food and meds you might need for the fight, as well as pay for travel fees.
Any help would be appreciated, even if it is just advice. I apologize if I'm being a little too audacious about this, I've just wanted Fenrir since I started playing FFXI, and finally having the Moon Bauble has made me itchy. If I do need more levels or something, I understand, just thought I would ask.

i think you're a bit too low for fenny fight ;3 if you do it the proper way that is. pretty much need a party of 70+ inorder to have a chance to win imo, not counting the common 5smn + one stand there to look pretty match~.
if you can find 5 smns to help you you can go as anything i guess lol. i think this is a common way for lower level smns that are dying for fenrir.

Okay, thank you much. ^^ I'll try to get a few more levels before I do anything else about getting the puppy then.
We are doing a run soon for fenrir, We have so far 74 Ninja (me), 74 Bard (Moaner) 74 Blm (Genoa), if anybody is interested in helping us out in getting the Dog let us know.
Moaner and I took on all the avatars by ourselves. So, hopefully Fenrir,with a full party, will be fairly easy to get.
I don't know if you as rdm will be too low, but I know i went to get ifrit once with my pld at 68. Got one shoted with Inferno.

I've had the moon bauble for a couple months now. I wouldn't mind trying the hard way (non 5 SMNs)

I would take sabotendar up on that offer because a 74+ rdm/drk actually makes the fight even easier than 5 SMN and is a more gratifying fight.
I wouldn't make a blanket statement that the fight is easy though. Its much harder than diabos and makes Leviathon seem like a Wild Rarab. Its only easy with certain precautions RDM/DRK being a great one. If his 2 hour goes off people will die, most likely a majority of your party, and you can't rely on RR because he will keep dispeling it.
If you need help I wouldn't mind coming as NIN or BLM although I have all the items so don't ask me over someone who needs the win.

Ermm... 63 SMN here that doesn't even have the pup yet... I got half my whispers, just need Garuda, Shiva and Titan... yea... I know, 63 :-\... weee a leech... :(. But I help out best I can... TP carby up quite a bit and then blast searing light for 100 points of damage maybe... :-\. If I'd be more detriment than the trouble it's worth, do not worry about it... I can get a few smn's to help me out with it I'm sure.
I also don't need any of his items have them all.

My PT went as Nin, Mnk/Nin, Blm, Smn, Rdm/Drk, Whm.
We all lagged alot, heck, he even got his 2hr on us and we only got us down to yellow.
But he didnt even move after that. *cough*

I would be extremely interested in coming along I am a 75 rdm. My sub jobs are below I don't have drk up there yet , but I would still like to come. I fought fenrir with 3 rdm's last time in pt and we still ended up getting him down to 15% so with this pt I see no problem. Let me know when you want to do, I want my puppy :) I will also send you a tell in game tomorrow.

last 3 levels??? Mattea... bro... smn doesn't end at 37.. infact, it doesn't get REALLY good till 51... (errr, the 40's are kinda cool w/ your BP's and cure III on subjob whm)
nah... I just meant 3 levels to have a fully leveled sub from 70-75. Once I hit 75 I'm sure I'll go back to SMN for at least my AF. I really enjoyed it
I have the key item already and interested on fighting it. BST71, let me know when.
