Weekend Thread 01/09/06-01/11/06Follow

Friday sucked donkey ballz... I got a pt that got me like 1.2k in exp (one death w/ raise) before it fell apart. After that, spent almost 2hr's waiting to build a new pt. Finally go at it again and the new pt can't even chain. The spread is lvl 61-65... and I was beating my head against the desk the whole time. I died enough that after my last death and my Home Point, I had less exp than I logged in with Friday night.

Saturday I got on and went to Davoi to help my LS get a soiled letter so we could do the follow up quest. After we got it and went back to Oldton and did our business, I went back to Jeuno and LFG. Got a party that was to meet me at Crag Mea once they found teleport. I was just about to zone from Meriph. Mountains into Tahrongi Canyon when my phone rings and I have to drop what I'm doing and head out for the evening.

Sunday I logged back in in Meriph. Mountains, started farming Raptors as my LS decides they're going back to Davoi for a couple more Soiled Letters. I got to kill my first Fire Elemental and then warped back to Jeuno :). Met up with the LS in Davoi and we eventually made our way to Castle O and Beadeaux... Fought the 4 NM's four times and we all went back to Oldton to collect our mantles :). After that, I helped a couple friends get G2 and went to try my luck w/ snolls in U. range. Eh, the snolls checked lower prey than in Ifrit's Cauldron so I warped home and went off to Ifrit's Cauldron for some solo exp.

Once I entered the Cauldron, I turn the first corner and see an LS in an alliance. A lil small talk, some waves, and next thing I know, I'm leading them thru Ifrit's Cauldron to get to the Hurricane Wyverns. I take them to the area the one NM spawns at and we fought about 5 or 6 Wyverns. No deaths (except the three from bombs on the way there ; ;), tho we did link an extra Wyvern, that was fun. Got two skulls, which was one more than needed... so everyone free lot on the second and I ended up taking it back to my mog house with me. :). After that, I escaped with them, went back in to finish off my exp session and as I'm fighting my last bomb before I go to bed, another pops in, sight agro's me and I died before I could reach zone... so I got to save my Warp Staff.

All in all, I got 4k exp this weekend as well as a Wyvern Skull and a decent satisfaction that I got to help others and remain occupied in the game. :).

I dunno if I'll have any time to exp tonight. Helpin w/ vhazl and then have some prior engagements that I need to take care of. . . /grin
