Late night exp static ~60, do you need it?Follow

oh man, I'd eat this up as I can never seem to get on before 6pm PST... However, since sometimes I'm not motivated to login till 8 or 9 pm... or sometimes not even at all... and also the fact I may have to log at any random time due to a specific interruption, I cannot do SP's :(. I'd say look for me if you want, but if you want, you'll do that anyways... also after a few days (at most a week), you'll surpass me and I will do nothing more than cut exp.

Also, here's a pretty nice setup I'm favorite to:
SMN/WHM
BLM/(mage)
BRD/WHM
NIN/WAR
WAR/NIN
MNK/SAM (replacable with another DD melee I)

Nin tanks w/ War on backup.. lvl 37 Utsusemi: Ni doesn't necessarily make a nin a better tank than war, but it does save the healer's MP more, especially when stacked with Utsusemi: Ichi. Also, SC's shouldn't be too much of a problem, and I see some good DD in there too. It's a nice balance of healing/support power vs raw physical damage with some added good ol' fashoined magic damage. You could substitute a WHM in for the SMN... but you'll sacrifice some PT buffs and possible magic damage (MB w/ elemental IV spells should equiv blm's elemental II spell on an MB), but that depends on the PT's ability to perform together.

I'm definitely down for this. But there's two catches.

1.) I work Sunday nights, and it's unfortunately non-negotiable. ><;

2.) I'm a 64 PLD.

I completely understand if you'd rather not "have to" level for someone else to be in the static. But I promise you, I do my job well, and I'm pretty good about MP conservation while still keeping hate.

Let me know please, if there's a place in your heart for a pally, then let me fill it. ^^ Thanks for your time.

I know that a war can be a decent solo tank, but the pts that I've had two tank tend to be extraordinary. The idea is to trade hate each utsu recast, so you have the hate of a pld (with so much provoke going around) and the damage evasion of a nin (with two utsu:ichi), not to mention the damage of two wars.

Unfortunetly, we need to party on monday and tuesday too. An "every other week thing" is fine, but I want as many full days as possible so that if someone has something come up we still have 2-3 nights a week. Send me a /tell in game, or I'll send you one, and we can try to work something out.

I don't mind catching up, as long as you don't mind waiting ^^. We don't even have to catch up all the way, since a tank 1 lvl higher is still good.
The Sunday night thing is fine, I understand. If nothing else it gives me time to farm, level other jobs, etc.

Heh, since the end of summer, I've only gained 4 levels... oh my god, I have to wait? I don't even know what that's like! =P

And on a side note, generally (I know it does happen, no flame posts please) a duo-WAR/NIN or something like it doesn't build as much hate as a PLD. Yes, they'll both have good hate, but remember, the two WAR's hate doesn't stack. =3

63MNK, i don't level very fast but midnight is kinda late for me. I'd be more than happy to join up to fill a DD spot whenever necessary. Just send a /tell and if i'm on, I'll come.

Kaganos, lvl 60 sam. I'd love to get in, but alas, I do not have a haubergeon...in fact, I am the poorest person on our server lvl 50+. But ignore that. I'm here to vouch for Dominis. He is one hell of a good guy, fun to be around, and a great samurai. Stop in IttoRyu some time, and we can all vouch for his skill (albeit not better than mine ^^)
