I did A01 with some friends just the other night. Setup was great. Nin/War, Smn/Whm, Smn/Whm, Smn/whm, Rdm/Whm, and War/Nin. We failed acouple times trying some fun strategies, used up our meds and 2 hours. Then we just decided to go in with nothing..... We ended up missing the record by less then a minute. Was a great evening and I was glad I was able to do it with friends. Rock on, Kyrin, Diavolo, Beej, Jerlina, and Kalindor. Sorry I went off topid but when do I ever stay on topic. ^^

If one of the RDMs can become a THF/NIN, it would be good, but not needed.

There is one very important trick to this. It's the pull. The prob is most people want to gravity the mobs for kiting. BIG mistake. If you have one brave sole run right in the middle of all 3 and aggro pull, you'll be in much better shape.

Here's what I recommend.

RDM/NIN would be good for this due to the extra buffs. What you'll do is buff up, run the RDM in and aggro all 3. Immediately the tank will grab one and take it back to zone for everyone to fight. The second RDM will stay in the circle solely to heal the kiter. DO NOT CAST ON THE KITED MOBS WHATSOEVER. The reason being that you can cure the kiter all day long without ever pulling hate if nobody has engaged them or casted on them. The second you engage or cast (turns red) hate will bounce. Otherwise it's solely on the one that got aggro.

I did this as THF/NIN and rarely had utsu up. Also, one of the two I was kiting stayed as BLM almost the whole f'n time and spammed -ga2 on me. But it went very smooth. I had Speck sitting in the circle spamming cures on me and he never got hate. Well, he did once cuz he rested right in front of them and they took a pot shot but that's normal. LoL.

Have the rest of the pt fight one at a time near the zone. Since you have a PLD tank, you'll want to lock the one being fought in on DRG or MNK (with the yellow liquids). You'll know which one he's on by what weapon is equipped. DRG is VERY slow and MNK hits very fast, but not much at a time.

Once the first one dies, have the PLD run up and voke the next one. Rinse and repeat. Very easy and we won our first try ever. Just make sure nobody makes any aggresive move on the ones being kited, and the one curing the kiter has a good MP pool (you will need ethers/yag drinks) and you should be good.

I was checking my new LS and I see that we have a few SMN at 69-75, I can't speak for some of them, but all you have to do is ask. There's not much in it for me, but I lose nothing, so it's never a problem. I am always willing to help. Most of the time, I am xping or farming and there is always time for that.

El, if you need a tank for Z4, as long as I don't need to farm torches or for the paintbrush, look me up, my T.berry hate is still pretty low. After I see my nephew that is.

Thanks folks for your suggestions for Riverne Site 01A fight. I think with some of the suggestions you all have made, and a good bit of in LS leadership head bumping for this fight, we should be able to come to an agreement on a setup and tactics before the next scheduled fight... (11/10)

We had an OK setup, but I think tank needs to be a NIN variant (such as NIN/WAR) for the Utsu and potential to keep MP usage from healing lower. We had some people who were confused about what they were to do which also caused a bit of a problem, but it was our first try and that kind of thing happens. We also will be wearing reraise equipment this time so that should we wipe we can get back up and try again!! LOL!! >.< It's gonna be fun moving my people in my main LS (CD) and my other beloved LS (VF) thru this one, but it's all the fun of the game!

WEll Friday I noticed that i was only lvl 20 smner instead of 24 so went and lvled that.

Saturday I failed bad at bs40....the thing had me going wtf. I mean the first hit on me 3 deadly rays -.-. Then lvled smner some more...beginning to like smner when im not main healer^^. Went and did avatars to for people and got me a few more of them.

Sunday I got my carby mitts(yays) and also got bee larve for my horntneedle^^. Then went to lvl smner and got it to 27. Last thing i did was went with my ls and owned the 3 enm proms and got a earring out of it. Just wait till i get my smner to 30..going to really own proms.

All in all it was a fun and busy weekend.

Not a bad weekend.

No bone party this weekend (; ;) but I did get in a good, mostly LS, party that got me 6k tnl 75.

Work killed me Saturday so I didn't have any time to log on at all. But my date went awesome so I'm happy. ;-b

Sunday we had that prior mentioned pt. Killed Fenrir in a normal pt (w00t), and lost in Dynamis-Windy. ; ; I also helped Dfizzle get his Evisceration WS. Grats!

So now I'm 7k tnl (death in fenrir and two in windy LoL) 75, have Fenrir, but still don't have Beaucedine access. Oh well. It wasn't too bad.
