Help Me OutFollow

Im on a ps2.
This morning while tryying to catch an airship to Kazham my ps2 froze. I restart it and it says no data after 2 restarts. Then on the 3rd try we can get into playonline. Now my brother is on he tele's himself and the second he steps off the crystal he gets shot up in the air (this is wht he told me) then he falls through the ground and it freezes.
Can any1 explain what happened or what I can do to fix it?
Also my disk drive is broken or as close to broken as it can be. So idk if reinstalling is an option can I put the HDD into another ps2 and reinstal stuff then transfer it back to my ps2?
