Reasons for quitting...lame?Follow

I was prepared to go into a big lengthy explaination about the difference between excuse and reason, but I think Enthuz covered it quite well.

I commend someone for knowing their weaknesses. Sure it would be best to balance your time successfuly, leaving time for both responsibilites and play, but not everyone has the self discipline to do that. If the person(s) in question are quitting because they know and understand the temptation of an addiction and realize they cannot overcome it, then they have learned something many people never do. If completely eliminating the temptation is what it takes, then so be it.

As for the secondary topic of this thread, I will leave that one alone completely. Bartenders never tell secrets ;)
