Fenrir Do you need it?Follow

If anyone needs Fenrir or is going on run soon, please let me know.

I'm 69 WHM . .; makes me wish i was 70 so I could participate. *wants the puppy badly* ; ;

I'm in the same boat as leet... 0/6 on whispers, no moon bauble and never took a shot at a single avatar let alone the puppy... Lvl 56 atm, and willing to tag along and use astral flow early so it's still used even after I'm blasted to death by the prime's Astral Flow BP... LoL

Unless doing this with SMN, the hardest part is to find someone to able tank this (PLD/NIN or NIN/WAR). Fenrir hits hard and quite fast (like a much harder version of Charybdis).

I know a few people who can do it quite well (one of them recently quited ; ; /cry Cee). Ask me in the game, I can give out a few names.

I've done fenrir before with random people from the streets of jeuno. I don't remember seeing anything abnormal in the fight. He was just slightly harder then the other avatars.

An L75 tank is important I suppose. We were a melee heavy party, which is usually bad on avatars, but we made it through without major incident. But a "normal XP party" should do ok on it, unless you are all under 70, perhaps.

If you guys are wiping when hes at 20% or less, you pretty much had the fight. If you can conistsently get this close then you can solve this problem easily with a resaise gorget or hairpin shared by the party.

Allow yourselves to wipe after doing as much attrition as possible, Fenrir will wander back to his pop location, so you get up and full rest. Then go all out again and you should have it. Just be sure you leave over 5 min left on battle timer so you can get rid of weakness first.

So many BC battles in the game can be won by this attrition method (or at least any fight with the 30 minute time limit). A single gorget (40k ?) shared by the party gives you a second chance on an already weakend boss. Running out of time is the only excuse you can have for failing to win a modern BCNM battle, thanks to these reraise items. ^^

I'm up for another run anytime. I got my fenrir earring but he has other nice rewards I want to chase down ^^ Give me a tell ingame .
