Well the narration leads me to believe not only will it be higher level, but you could need sky and sea to get the mage job unlocked. Granted this is PURELY speculation, but it did say "Beyond the Sky and the Sea, Adventurers learn a new way of life".

I honestly think this wouldn't be a bad thing (maybe a bit extreme though) because do you really want to see 4000 blue mages running around? Can you imagine trying to get a pt on a normal job? LoL

While what you say is true, Leet (4000 BLU's running around) I would also believe that about 3900 of those would never go past lvl 30 after they had gotten it out of their system of played with the new job enough. That would leave all of us whom Blue Mage is, was, and always will be our favorite job class in any Final Fantasy to stick it through to 75. =^_^=

That being said, I hope I don't have to get through sky to unlock it, but I better get cracking just in case huh?

No, not yet. Haven't been on for nearly two weeks due to RL events, but I'll be on a lot more frequently now that that's over...
