This was something I learned today by accident and I felt obligated to post it, I shouted it in port jeuno and to make sure those that missed it this saw what I learned:

With the Toros if you go after them with a level 1 job they can't warp you and the lower level you are the less likely you are to be warped, just thought someone would see this and care.

I found this out while in sandy, I was going to bloodport and I spotted the Toro so I decided to just Dia it with my level 1 rdm and let it attack me, it was wailing on me for at least twenty minutes and it never warped me, eventually it just hit me in front of an orc and I got killed.

I see one problem with this however. Would take a long time to kill him with a lvl1 job lol. But that is an interesting discovery.

If you do little damage to it, it won't warp you.

I spent all day finding and pulling Toros in Rolanberry to the Jeuno zone. I threw a boomerang at it and did 1-3 damage with my leet 30 throwing skill. He hit me but never warped me. When you start doing higher damage to it, youre getting warped. The only reason a level 1 wouldnt get warped is because it would do little damage, not because it's level 1.

So something with a naturally low attack power, like a mage, would probably be able to beat these guys without getting warped, right?

I pulled Toro with provoke, he never warped me until..

I lost hate and regained it. Then he warped me to my HP.

Other wise, he warps you on DoT not if you do one big shot.

So say you hit him for 2-3 damage, keep doing that and you'll

eventually get warped.

She probably meant it warps you when some sort of cumulative damage is met. Once you hit the minimum requirement you get warped, so if you blast it with a big attack you're just meeting that requirement faster.
