You facilitated Blub's levelling. You ruined other parties in quifim's Exp parties. You taught members of your own Party bad party mechanics. You ruined the integrity of the game. Really who didn't it hurt?
Did you even read the original post??? Or did you just read one paragraph out of context?
The night began with "Why is this 75 galka healing us? who is he with?" We never asked for any of this. He showed up. We never asked for a PL from them. I wasn't the leader. But I was the one who initiated having Blub kicked and suggested that we would ditch the PL. Why am I the **** here?
I sent a /tell to the party leader with my concerns about the PL we had. The leader agreed Blub should be kicked. If Blub was staying, I was going to leave. But our leader and the rest of the party made the right choice so we kicked the gil seller and the powerleveler. End of story (except the part where Thin harassed me for an hour. Thats another story.)
Where the hell did you get these ideas in your head that I am a **** powerleveling parasite??? I got my mnk to 75 without a single PL. I don't ever expect or ask for PL help, regardless if I'm slumming in valk dunes or the C.nest. I've been through valk 6 times (which is a fair bit for a casual player) and have only encountered this PL nonsense this last month while working on a new job/subjob combo.
So do I admit to joining a party that happened to have a PL already? When 80% of valk and qufim parties are powerleveled there just arnt a lot of choices anymore. I don't like what PL dependency is doing to the average player base, but if the party that invited you uses a PL, you may as well see it through to the end (especially if you paid your dues in the past 2 years of playing without a PL.)
"Either the paladin and his L75 whm friend go, or I'll take my L.14 thf elsewhere!!" Do you call a GM when they kick you? I have principles, but I am also kind of realistic here...
PL makes a mundane trip through the ghetto levels even more boring, plus I agree no one on their first few trips through should expect a PL if they want to learn to play this game. But some days it is a necessary evil to put up with it all. It cheapens the experience, but it isnt cheating.
Now please dont accuse me of being an XP leech, or a PL parasite, or a gil seller sympathizer again. I don't mind if you hijack the topic to dwell on powerleveling again and again, but can you please stop slandering me?
