Ok I just logged off the game and watched Auslanders ls get wiped out in Serket by Flying. Flying immediately moved to nest and Rolanberry and managed to somehow get SIm. I am not apart of Hnmls but i tried to us -ga spells to keep off all the mobs. You guys on ur Hnmls might have to get together to beat these guys. After seeing what I saw and dying in Garlaige Citadel there is NO way you all will be able to do your huntin in peace. I have friends in many of those ls's so it bothers me. This is the full list of members of flying:
Coffes Domegirl Bagod Zoon Jeneeu Redfos Benb Ending Nvna Thin Liner Lucys Wonderful Renuu (damn this one to hell)Calala Fin and Xiaoyaya (wasn't present because she was in Feiyin) these guys are normally in Kuftal camping Amemet and the worm. They also camp Eastern Shadow and most of the time Benb stays in Boyada Tree. Regardless they know the Time of Deaths. I'm not sure why the GM did nothing in Garlaige Citadel, massive death. I probably have accomplished much, but these guys are only gonna get worse because some of Cerebrus gilsellers are not in that ls yet but thats cause they are high enuff. You're best bet call a GM as soon as you all get to Garlaige and help one another out. Good job claiming and killing Serket to those of you who survived that onslaught. Good luck.

Thanks Ker for noticing what did go down lastnight in Garliage citadel. Actually what you witnessed was my linkshell RefusetoUse taking the mobs the linkshell named FLYING was using to attempt an mpk on DarkNemesis after they got claim on serket. We took the mobs so that DN could kill serket and to send a message to those gil selling mpking bastards who lag mpk'd us at simurgh the previous night. I did call a gm previous to serkets popping and he said that they cannot sit and monitor an hnm fight sooooo we have to call them when an mpk is in progress. I did so and we reported and about 10 mins after 7/8 of my ls died killing all 3 gigantic waves of undead mobs and weapons. I spoke to a gm and told her what happened. The members of DN were very grateful and that made our deaths seem even less in vain because they definitely were not. Before i go further, Congrats Yaonv, flyca, redlvdao, greenlvdao, andthe rest who claimed and killed serket. Ok so yes, I had to d/c shortly after dealing with the gm who said she would investigate. Our leader Aphrini then talked to a GM who said some really nice stuff about our selfless sacrifice :D. but in the long run we were told that it would be taken care of. So hopefully justice will be served otherwise there could quite possibly be a conspiracy involving gilsellers and gm's lol . BUT anyways!!! We have to take a stand against this Linkshell Flying. They Lag Mpk'd us on Simurgh, and even attempted mpks on both WW and DN lately which were stopped due to our actions. So please be warned about Flying if you do get a claim against them be ready for them to try and MPK. If any ls is interested in finding a way from preventing this LS Flying from MPKing anymore LSes please send a tell to someone in RTU (Aphrini,Dezdemona,Packboy,Ezeus,Moreana.) Sorry if i am rambling on guys i havent slept yet ant its 8:02 am est. Good night :) and thanks for posting ker :)

I was there again and we weren't surprised this was going to happen. They told us yesterday they were going to try and MPK us, so we knew it was coming. We pretty much had our entire linkshell out for this.

Tonight and before, I died with honour and I was proud. Sure, we didn't get the drop, but it isn't about money. Tonight was about making sure the ******* gilsellers didn't get the drop were it to be our linkshell or another, as it was in this case, that got the claim.

I was getting a bit bored with this game with all I was doing was mainly exping and crafting. But having done my first HNM fight with a group like RefuseToUse last week brought me more enjoyment again. I'm not about to about to let ******* gilsellers ruin this.

I have some logs that I will post later.

Sounds like a grand ol' time, my LS saw this group camping Bubbling Eyes in Sea Serpent Grotto for a great while last night, I noticed that one of the key names of the people who travel with them wasn't listed in the list above: Zoome; He kept spamming /emotes so a few of us slapped him, but nothing out of the ordinary...

As far as combating this problem, it's always nice to have a common cause in which to work together; I know it's been suggested, and probably will come up again, but it seems the best idea is to bring a seperate party with you (and if your LS isnt big enough, another LS for support) to HNM camps. Mainly, Serket and Sim; Just to combat the gilsellers MPK attempts, seems to me having a HL RDM around would be a good idea because they can kite away large groups of Mobs by casting Diaga to get their attention, then using stoneskin blink (or utsusemi if /NIN) and phalanx they can kite the Mobs away from the HNM Allaince/Party and even escape/warp when they get the mobs to an area where they don't cause harm to others. But this is just the way I'd handle it myself <3 Chainspell -> Warp. Down with MPKers :3

The Diaga trick didn't work to well against Serket...I died in the process of pulling them back to their original spawn point and Liner just grabbed them all and brought them back. I guess the best thing to do for Garliage is a brd and or blm for sleepga and Lullaby then call for help. As for Sim that problem of lag was dealt with seeing how we killed all the mobs...cept the malbaro who popped.

lol zoome was mentioned in the other thread the night they lag mpk'd our ls at sim. Lastnight we camped sim and serketwith an extra pt just incase we did get claim. Fortunately althoughwe did not get serket, DN did and we were able to sacrifice ourselves to insure victory of DN so the gil sellers would not be successful in their attempt. We can only hopethat the GM who sounded pissed after seeing them do that, Will do somethign about it.

My idea to this is get 2 or 3 ls to unite and crush the flying ls in getting the claims. We can beat them at their own games by having more #'s of people. I know "Epitome of Greatness" has a few members that would be down for some fun on this.
As far as zoome and blub and the others, shame on us who have partied with thenm and help them get xp for their current levels. Personally if i'm in a exp party from here on out, I'll opt out if they are invited.

Well, Diaga is the fastest way to get hate, but you can cast other spells on the way, you don't really have to bring them back to their orginal point as that would prove troublesome because it's a long walk, just don't zone them all the way, once you zone they would head back to their natural spots, however if they bring them back I guess their isnt much you can do, but atleast you bought your comrades time, you could chainspell > escape yourself at any given point when you'd think it was clear.

As far as a RDM doing it I also was thinking a 75, also this should be their sole purpose, so they should have all buffs up and be ready to roll when the mobs start to flow.

Of course all plans have faults, BRD sleeping is a good idea, except the BRD is going to die when they wake up, and BLM cannot sleep undead so that's not really likely.

He was mentioned then, however, he wasn't mentioned in the "full list of members of flying" that the OP posted, that's all I was pointing out.

Friday night Serket: Surprise surprise another Flying MPK.

Serket popped really late in the window, which meant there were some very tired and anxious people as is. Sadly we were down to 8 people and were spread a bit thin. The red and green vlado gang got it. They are Chinese, possibly gil sellers, but not ***** as far as I knew.

Under a minute into the fight and the undead showed up on serket (it didnt pop anywhere near the skeleton area). The Flying MPK was on, and so a few of us thought it would be a good idea to spite the attempt by killing the skeletons.

We made quick work of them, but then we had jars and a wraith followed by 2 bombs on us. Serket was nowhere near us (a few new mobs were sent his way) and we kept getting more and more sent our way. And somehow a lot of bats were on us >.<

It seemed our anti-mpk party was now being mpk'd for trying to prevent the MPK -.-

We had a few deaths... I DC'd twice (lag got really crazy) and my party did a great job. Plus some backup arrived. But overall it was a mess. Afterwords the notion that by trying to stop the MPK, we were really just assisiting the other gilseller group, and this wasnt really a good idea in the frist place.

At some point while this was all going on serket apparently went unclaimed and WW stepped in for the win. So neither gil seller company got the claim, which is good in the end I suppose. But personally I have vowed to never go near Serket again.

I have heard further horror stories that Flying is in sky now and that they attempted an MPK during Faust. This has me terrified.

PS. A GM was called but never showed up as far as anyone knew. I had a look at my chat log and there wasnt a lot there to show that any specific members in flying did anything wrong, and unless a GM witnesses an MPK, theres not a lot they can do...

My only hope is that daily complaints of mpk from every other LS on the server will at least get some attention. But I dont reccomend trying to help avert the MPK attempt again. It seems to just escalate the situation. It may be noble, but it isnt worth the sacrifice of so many people for complete strangers who wont thank you in the end.

I've had a great deal of fun doing ground HNMs with RefuseToUse thanks to Phrini and Dez and the gang, but this mpk stuff really turns my stomach. I think its time that a cross server effort goes out to let SE know how we feel about what's going on. I can't imagine Cerberus is the only server that has this happening, and very frequently the GMs are little to no help because they didn't see exactly what happened and can't rule on it. If enough players voice their complaints loud enough SE will step up efforts to combat this. Honestly getting them banned probably won't stop them, they'll just roll new characters and start over but it would at least give us a few months of peace, and maybe force a change to how SE deals with this type of thing in the future.

I'm just curious, aren't Red and Green lvdao gil sellers? I only ask cause I was in a pt with Red and he was controlling Green as a pl and he spoke very broken english. The next day I somehow ended up in a pt with him again but without the PL, and the guy did not recognize me or the other guy who pted with him the night before for 4 hours. Which sorta indicated that it wasnt the same person using the character, hence gil seller.

Not sure though, I dont want to be seen as throwing random accusations around.

They may be gil sellers, but not MPKers, since when I camped Serket with Untouchables they were down there, never tried to MPK us.

Some gil sellers are on my "okay" list, since when I was doing the "For The Birds" quest, Happygirl had a huge train building up with coffer mobs to go MPK others @ Mee Deigi(sp).

Few min. later I searched a new area to look for the NPC I needed to talk to, then out of nowhere a MNK aggros me, shortly after an Oracle (he wasn't a threat, but his avatar casting Firaga on me while I had on my Jelly/BQ ring was), then I notice Jinboy examine me, and actually SA/TA the Oracle and kill it off, which probably did save me since I didn't have a lot of HP/MP left.

I agree with you there. I've never seen them do MPK or anything shady like that. Seem like nice folks actually.

Hate to continue the tangent but I have a related story. I was xping once in Kuftal Tunnel, I go get coffee after setting up camp and come back 30 seconds later to see my whole pt either dead or zoned. Turns out a gil seller had trained 30 crabs to us. I assumed MPK but later they came back and one of the group (a WHM) appologized in broken english trying to explain that it was sneak dropping by accident and she gave me a Raise 3. I accepted their appology and our pt moved on.

Later in the same pt the same pld who trained the agro got agro from a crab again. This time instead of training he stood there and fought it slowly dying since he couldnt take it. I asked our group to help since it seemed that the guy had actually learned his lesson and decided to be coureous.

Once again, sorry for the tangent, just a cute story I wanted to share.

Been a victim of these folk's MPK... They don't care about no one, and they like to intimidate others, as well. Call a GM immediately if they MPK.

This happened to me as well, as my samurai character, but there were spiders included and we got no apology. We assumed it was to mpk a DRK who was camping Amemit, who happened to escape the train (I think the DRK was Nineu)

I am ashamed to have pted with the following: Liner, Xiaoyaya, Thin and Calala. They seemed so nice, too,(well Xiaoyaya did anyway) as previously stated...makes me sad to think about it.

I really do not have a problem with gilsellers at all. I have a problem with MPK'ers though. The fact they mpk'd us to start with is what started this war and until today i thought it was over but serket pwned them so woot. good job super-serket :P

What we really need is a server-wide LS agreement. I know it seems impossible, but if people put themselves in Dez's and the others shoes, they're gonna be pissed off, like no tomorrow. If we can, not necissarily join together all LSes, but come to a common agreement to work together to stop the further progression of Flying and the like, we could do it. "Our worlds at War" is a pretty accurate description. Flying is like a forgein nation, coming over trying to invade, and only meeting with minimal resistance. If we had more "rebels" per se, to fight back against them, then they would be a lot less likely to do what they do. I'm not saying MPK them, because that in the end would only sink us down to their level, but, we just fight the good fight. Bring along an extra group or two for fighting NM's. Make sure your friends don't invite them to groups etc etc. After a while, they will see how serious our server is, and if we prevent them from getting drops, well, its just that much more fun for us and grief for them. We CAN beat them, and we ARE better than them. So, who is with me? Lets show them what we can do! And if you need someone to possibly help you, there may not be much I can do, but /t Kaganos, and you'll have yourself a spiffy elvaan sam to scare all the mobbies away ^_^

Xiaoyaya, and Calala are kinda nice.. I pted with Xiaoyaya before as well. Three times actually. All this is before I knew she was a gil seller. Calala, I met this guy when they were PTing in dunes with, Zoome, Thin, Renuu. Xiaoyaya and Calala seem to be the only ones someone could reason with. Xiaoyaya however now seems me as one of thier enemies, probably because I wont associate myself with her or them now that I know what they are.

I think it is wrong to assume gil sellers as "evil bad" people. A lot is doing this game-illegal things to support real life needs. And in order to do that, they have to MPK so that can make enough gil to please their employer or buyer. I think it is bad to equate breaking game rules as being evil person. When one really thinks, a lot of in-game activity is really has no consquences and implication to their real life character. Hell, even Japanese mafia comes to help out when there is an earthquake even they sell drugs and are loan sharks.

The true issue is if the gil buying market is not as large as it is, such gil seller LS may not exist to begin with. Economics is supply-and-demand, even if you are talking about the black market.

Zoome and Renuu were mpk'n people in Kuftal 2 nights ago... We were there for Bastok 8-2 (for the win!) and witnessed their mpk attempt. They said that a lvl 50 pt had mpk'd them so they were returning the "favor".

What can a lvl 50 character train for any amount of time in Kuftal?? It'd be 3-5 hits before they're down.

Yeah a 10-15 crab train. I thought it was just a sneak wearing off issue, but we had been talking to that pt for awhile. They said Zoome stopped in the middle of their pt for a bit before zoning. THen when our RDM died, he came over and did the /laugh at him. Renuu just stood on him for a while. Started casting R3 and cancelled it. Then he actually did cast it and zoome slapped renuu and went and warped back. Jack asses.
