After reading the boards recently i have seen many former GoA members posting. I was wondering how you guys have been faring during FFXI. I had to quit due to my dad being a complete and utter douchehat (im trying out a new word) but i wanna see how you guys are doing! Please post your highest level(s0 and what LS your in now and how your enjoying the game! And anyone else for that matter. Thanks for your time!

Good to hear from you, its been a while. I'm doing ok, my whm is 73 now, and i'm lvling mnk and thf too which is fun. I'm in Crusader linkshell and Boobah.

Hey Mystikal, its good to see your still around online. I was bummed along with everyone else when you left but I understood the reasons. I hope things are going well for you in whatever it is your doing these days.
Im kind of unsure what happened to the old board. I always expected it to stay throughout for a very long time. But with all those who had left the game for the other I guess it was inevitable. In any case, I was truly blessed to come across such a great group of people. You guys made every moment of the game alot of fun for me and I appreciate all of it.
As for me in game, Im doing ok. Im currently in Crusader and I think Im enjoying things there. My PLD is currently at 74. Could of been 75 months ago but Im a casual player these days and mostly join exp pt's with friends and ls mates. I have other jobs that are 50+ but Im think BRD or THF will be my next push. I still really enjoy the game and play a good 3 to 4 days a week. Not all day like I did in the beginning but enough to keep myself happy.
From the original group of Avalon players there's probably about a handful that still play and have high level jobs. Most play casually like me though but we mostly keep in contact with one another through friends lists and all that.

Anywho.....Lendenbok, Lunareis, Darkcloud, Sacryd, Meimei, Dougie, Neleh, Ceowulf, Lhun, Daison and Jeuth were there before you had to leave..so those are the names you'll recognize. After you left we had an influx of new members(the name of the ls changed to Legacy as you know), alot of whom still play now. There are members of Avalon scattered across the whole of Vanadiel. We are all comrades and friendly with one another. And all of us are there for each other when called upon. Always and forever...

Garden of Avalon was truly a great linkshell and i really wish i did not need to leave the game. I am trying to get my dad to let me have it one more time but you never know with him. I think that if i work it off he will let me play. I will have to start over i believe but i am going to try to get Mystikal back. I miss everyone there. Wryn i am glad your still going strong. Neleh i had NO idea you were already at 73. I am really impressed. I think i saw Rewand along the same level? I miss you all and i hope to see you soon.

Anyway, yes, as Dimpol says.. we are in full force on Feathermoon. For anyone interested at all (right.. few of you.. maybe.. if any) we play on the US version in Feathermoon. Its pretty wild, Alethea and I were just talking (literally the other day) about how we missed the old times in GoA. Its cool seeing some of you pop up and say hello. I do miss all of you but I also know your really enjoying yourselves as Im enjoying myself in Vanadiel. I remember stating that GoA would never die...and it hasnt. Our friendships have endured everything.

I have no idea how I happened upon this site again but I am happy I did because I was pleasantly surprised to see activity in this thread. So I'll just spit it out and say it's great to see everyone again! It would appear we are all on different servers but its cool to know everyone is enjoying the game. Jeuth still plays as well but he's also on a different server. ^^
