Magnos - AH mistakeFollow

Hey all,

An LS mate of mine accidently purchased a Jaeger Mantle yesterday rather than another cape.... And paid 1m gil for it><.

At any rate, the seller was named Magnos. So if anyone knows this person or knows of this person, would you be kind enough to have him return the gil. The mantle has already been returned and is in his delivery box.

We all know that mistakes like this occur. And many times they work out okay. We all know that cool peeps will return the gil when it's such a blatant mistake. 1m for a 200k item is clearly a mistake!! lmao.

At any rate, any assistance would be sincerely appreciated.. as Magnos was not online yesterday night... If anyone knows him or is in contact, would you be kind enough to let them know of this (in case they haven't logged in or if it's a mule)... needless to say certain people are losing their minds wondering if they will see their gil back or not.

But please don't get the wrong impression of him atm. We have NOT been able to make contact as of yet, and this was not an err on his part. I am NOT trying to flame him or anything of that nature as he's done absolutely nothing wrong. I want to be crystal clear on that!

I'm only asking for some help in locating him as this could very well be a mule which is often difficult to locate.

Basically, the jaeger mantle was returned to him to show that its purchase was a mistake. At this point, it's completely his call as to how he wishes to handle the issue.

UPDATE: Well... it appears that Magnos has no intentions of returning the gil. He accepted the Jaeger Mantle from his delivery box, and re-sold it on the AH. ... and yet, has not returned any gil.

If he does return the gil, I will be sure to post up. But atm, it is pretty clear that the gil is lost.

With that said, you all can draw your own conclusions as to the type of person he/she is. If this is a mule, it could be difficult to find who their Main character is, but simply be forewarned.

Any of you who feel that these types of actions are less than honorable, would you be kind enough to check your FList every so often as the name could appear on that list showing their main account and the mule account when they are logged in as such. Its not likely that this person will be found under such circumstances. However, a collective effort may prove otherwise^^

Perhaps some pressure once the Main name is known will be encouragement enough to do the right thing. I think its too easy for shady people to hide behind their relatively unknown mules.

Oh man that blows! There's no way that that gil is getting returned though. It's too easy to just keep it. Sadly there aren't as many honest people on Cerberus as we would like to believe. I know I'd return it, but I can see why someone wouldn't. I mean 2 million gil for nada. That's bloody sweet. But it's wrong, no doubt about that.
