CoP Linkshell, Do you need it?Follow

I was actually invited to an all CoP LS (which was cool because I hadn't heard of one existing...hence my original post). It already has a pretty good player base, so me starting my own would be kind of pointless.

The leader of the LS is Munkey and if I remember correctly it's called "ToParadise". If you jobs that are high enough send him a /tell and see if he will let you in. So far it's full of very helpful and very good people. I only joined last night...so I don't know the exact requirements of it.

We spent around 6 hours doing Riverne Site #A01 alone last night. It was purely luck that I found out about it, as an XP party member had to leave for it and I asked if I could tag along.

Sorry for the delay in this, I was trying to get NIN to 37 for a sub all week so I was grinding away before starting to pass out perls.





OK, so I've been irritated with the fact that so few people ever want to participate in the CoP storyline. It's like pulling teeth trying to get anyone to participate in any of the missions.

So I'd like to start a CoP Linkshell exclusively for CoP Missions...including Promyvions. This LS will be dedicated to finishing the CoP storyline...even if it means that we need to get newer members up to speed.

There are a plethora of incredible items you can get in CoP, and a lot of excitement to be had...so believe me the work will be worth it. Check out this thread for items that you get after completing CoP: What you get for completing CoP.

This way we can actually have somewhere to go to get these things done instead of shouting in Jeuno! I'm currently on Riverne Site #A01, and just can't find anyone to go with. I'll go back and do Promyvions if necessary to get enough people for the push forward...I found the Promyvions to be quite fun actually.

Goal of the LS:

To finish the CoP storyline for every member of the LS. You MUST meet the requirements below...this LS is NOT to get level 10 characters all the way through. You must contribute and pull your own weight.

Requirements:

1. You must at least have one job level 30+ for Chapter 1 (Promys), 40+ for Chapter 2 (Riverne Sites), 50+ for Chapter 3 (BCNM's etc). After Chapter 3, the higher level the better.

2. You must have appropriate equipment for the missions. No, you don't need whole +1 sets...but you cannot show up for the Promyvions in level 10 gear (for example). I know this can be a pain, but it's necessary.

3. You must be willing to do previous missions to help other members. The more people we can get involved the easier the missions will be (most of them anyway). If you only come into the LS for the missions that you need, you will be removed from the LS for being a leech. You must, I repeat must contribute to the LS by being helpful and by being prepared.

4. You must have CoP (duuuh).

So here's the deal: If you're interested, please post your char name and job levels 30+ so I can see how many people would join. If there are enough, then I'll buy an LS and we can start this thing.

Please know that I intend to run this LS by the book...I want things to work like a well oiled machine. I won't have leeches in the LS, and I will work with people to set up appropriate times for missions.

I'm currently on Riverne B01 and yes, I'd like to get farther.

I have WAR, SAM, and PLD above 30, and I can use PLD for every later mission.

ya look me up in game, im interested i need promyvion-holla and promyvion-dem still.

That's a good idea ^^. Not only can we become experts at the Promys, but we can get XP and items to boot ^^.

I'll go ahead and buy a shell later today when I get home from work and start recruiting people. I think this will be a blast!

I'd be interested in joining as I haven't advanved in CoP since like Jan. I'm currently at Riverne Site A. My whm is 66 and I could do blm in promys (and maybe Aquadaucts as its' 37).

I would be up for it, Check Signature for details on my levels. I am also on to the minotaur mission in the aqueducts, willing to do what it takes, I have a cache of items ready for the missions involved, plus I am nearly a promy expert..... unfortunately.

Good idea Kaylen, Count me in too! Been trying to get promy-mea done for months now but always struggle to get a party together. I don't mind helping out with the other promys whenever needed.

missions not for the rewards but for the story.
