This is driving me nuts...I finally reached 70 PLD, took on Maat and lost the first time. Took about a week break, came back, and kicked the old mans' ass the 2nd time around.

The problem is that I'm LFP pretty much when I get home from work until I go to sleep...and there are no good invites (nor enough people to start a party). The same goes for the weekend...all of Saturday I got 1 party invite, which I missed because I was AFK.

It's driving me crazy because I'm ready for that final push to 75, I have most of my gear that I'll need and really WANT to wear (full Adaman)...but no one seems to want to XP.

WHERE IS EVERYONE?!?

Lots of people stop experiencing post-patch, that might explain it.

I am not exactly sure what you meant by "post-patch". But in general LFG at higher level is slower because there are simply less people to choose from unless you are in JP hours. But finding PT is hard in JP hours unless you can speak Japanese or Chinese (Taiwan players).

I haven't hit level 70+ with any job at all but I heard (and this is just what I heard, I can't confirm if it is true) that PLD is not the prefered tank for exping beyond 70. There could be several factors to this being true but since I never hit 70+, I can't really say. X3

Sucks but eh, the game is community ran.

Parties 70+ are always hard to find, since after awhile camps can get very limited sometimes (RNG PTs in sky, BLM/MNK PTs in KRT are good examples)

Actually with less people exping, camps are easier to find because there are less people fighting for camps. And there are places people do not go, but it awesome to exp at 70+.

Ul. Range is awesome exp, and mob repops are fast (faster than sky), and the drops are very good -- not just stacks and stacks of wind crystals -.-. Just getting to camp is not easy -- it is actually easier than one will think after you did a few times.

Time to be an adventurer ;)

Although I agree with you that ppl need to look for EXP camps, lets face it, most usually won't, since the price of sneak/invis items is near 20K a stack, most people won't be willing to spend 40K to look around, WHM and RDM for sneak/invis can work, but they are very random for how they last

And then you got the problem in sky with everything aggroing to magic

Yeah I expected the slowdown, but I thought PLD would at least be invited more often than this. Maybe it's just been a slow week...but I haven't been able to get a good party for the life o' me.

If it continues like this there won't be a point to continuing PLD...I'm not going to spend a month LFP and getting 1 level.

Not if you have someone already know the way, when I was still playing, I guided a few PTs through Ul. Range. FYI, just a few Demon Horns (or even a Dark Spirit Pact O_O) and stacks and stacks of Dark Crystals, I am sure I will change your mind there ;).

Remember the old days when KoN was exploring Sky the first time.... They had to figure the camps etc.

Show me some adventurer spirit ^^

Amanada, what I mean is finding actual new camps and getting ppl to actually go to them, just because one person is willing to try it doesn't mean ther other 5 will

Aceofwilds, don't give up yet, it does take a long time getting PTs post 70 for PLDs, after I came back from my 2 week break when I had to study for semesters, it took me a long time to find PTs.
