Most crafts are not profitable until at least level 40+, unless you farm your own materials. I highly encourge you to get Thief to 15 if you wish to get your own materials. There are some good guides in crafting in this website, so are a little outdated, but still provide a good guideline in what to do.

Do not let me catch you ever say that again.... It is actually quite annoying to hear that.

A lot of missions are actually soloable. Again there are good information about missions on this website, please check it... The only missions that are 100% not soloable is 2-3, 5-1, and 5-2 (before rank 6).

Newer players should learn a little more about researching the game . If you are able to post here, then you have already find a large pool of resources of game information. Try to look around this website before asking for help.

2 Tips
1) Crafting Wise It seems the easiest and cheapest is Cooking.
2) Mine Get some Lvl1 Field Gear (Body,Boots,Gloves u dont need pants) and go to zerhun Mines outside Bastok Mines and just mine with a Stack of pickaxes. U should easily make back the gil spent and then some.

lvl thf to 15.

in the course of soloing you'll prolly have enough crystals to sell and make quite a profit. if you can, i suggest go and lvl in the windy area, coz there are crawlers there and we all know silks are all time favorite to farm. also beehive chips, bird feathers etc which can be quite profitable.

when you got your thf to 15, you can just farm with your war in a low lvl area for beehive chips and stuff like that... also the usual Mining, harvesting, loggin, gardening are the known ones to make gil. You'l be able to survive on these type of things for a long time. =)

one thing that i really dislikes is when people ask for help on something that they can solo, or ask for help when they don't know what it involves, or where to go. Helpers are there to assist, not do it for you...

money doesn't come out of no where, (well mine certainly doesn't). so don't expect anyone to just give you free gil for nothing.

/em donates Mai his gluttony sword, hoping it will be sharper.

Really, if you are going to ask for help, use proper grammar. Nothing is worse than someone without the respect to you real words. Look at it this way, everytime you are asking for help you are presenting a resume. If you use slang like "no1", "sux", "relly", or "trow", I'm just going to assume you are lazy. It only takes an extra half second to spell "sucks" correctly. Besides it just makes you look stupid.
