Goofy friggin computer. It doubled the post but deleted this info. /sigh. Ok here goes again.

Anyone bored enough to help a broke Monk kill at least one of the NMs for brown belt quest? I can sub THF for TH but I can't solo them at 45. The good news, the placeholders generally have good drops (cockatrice meat, black tiger fangs, well... we won't talk about molbor.. LoL) and I can hold my own in the damage department. I know it's a long shot because it's such a pain in the @$$ quest but let me know. It would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.

I been trying to get help for that myself...
Kinda ridiculous to have to kill 3 NMs to get this item....and people say Monks have an easy job =/

I truly think Monks have the most ridiculously expensive gear possible. At my level (45) to have a fully built guy, I need Kote (600k), Jujitsu Gi (now 200k), Brown Belt (350k), Fuma Kyahan (125k), etc etc. There's just not enough Goobbues in the world. :ob

Let me know if you want to take on some Tabar's some time Desnia and get that Dodo to pop. I can probably get one or two LS mates to help out.

Kote is down to 500k, and i saw someone shouting it for 450k today.

I can help, but it depends on what i am doing, and i wont be on until sunday morning again(birthday, lan etc, everything in the way^^)
I'd also like to get one of those drops for myself if you can spare the time(<- mnk lv51)

I'm always up to help those that help me. :-b.

Kowalakiller and I were out there yesterday just crushing Tabars. We had help from a WHM in our SP at first, then when he left, my in game fiancee came out to help and heal. Let me tell you, a 52 DRG using Penta Thrust is something to see. LoL. 927DMG is pretty impressive. Yeah the Tabars aren't that hard and I was holding my own with my 41DRK. I'll bring the 45MNK out if we get something going though. Just let me know and we'll set something up.

What up Darkvlade! So are you saying you're in to help? LoL. Or just bragging that you're still a higher level than me. :ob j/k. I can sub THF for drop ratio if someone can sub RNG or BST for widescan. When's a good time for everyone??? I'm usually on all friggin weekend because Vana tends to be more interesting than Ohio.

EDIT: Hey Dark got a question. Why are you using the Pilferer's earring with no THF sub? I just noticed that and was curious if they changed the Latent Effect crap. Anyways, Thanks everyone for expressing interest!

Sweet a$$ McGee. :ob Yeah Naz was helping us last night until you guys went off charming the world. LoL Man I love Haste/Regen. Soooooo ready for SP again.

Anyways back to the point. How many are up for killing some Tabars tonight? I'll even throw in a bonus. For those that need it, I'll turn whatever cockatrice meat you get into kabobs if you can't already do it yourself. Sell them, eat them, I really don't care. It's a small way of saying thanks for helpin an elf out. :-)

Meat Mithkabobs (or chiefkabobs when lucky) =
1 x Fire Crystal
1 x Cockatrice Meat
1 x Wild Onion
1 x Mhuara Garlic

That friggin meat is 20k/stack so I'm not always quick to buy a stack. Granted there is a profit to be made, it's just that initial dent in the pocket book that makes me *gasp*

I can't help tonight - Naz and I are going to BST for sure. But maybe sometime this weekend. I was thinking of going out there on a Saturday or Sunday morning or something...

There's a huge maint window I guess this weekend too. Maybe late tonight or tommorow afternoon I forget which

The maintenance is for the registration server. It won't affect the game play so it's no biggie. If you can't make it,it's no biggie clock. It would be nice though. :-b

EDIT: Maybe if I can coax Nuven into participating I'll sub RNG. LoL. /em waves the mithakabobs under Nuven's nose.

Send me a /tell Leet if you can use a 45 blm or 41 whm! I cant promise you an entire night or anything, but I can certainly spare an hour or two.^^

EDIT: Desnia... Please send me a /tell if I can help you in any way! You, Fatimah and Darkorko were quite gracious in providing help to my LS mates on their SAM quest the other night. Even though it was a TOTAL overkill!! lol! But I'd love the opportunity to return in kind!

I'd like to be able to help, but I'm still too low a level. I did want to chime in on something though.

How many times have you heard mages complain about how expensive their jobs are? Pft.

Try being a mnk or thf. Yes, thf. Especially an elvaan thf. By lvl 24 you're almost expected to have leaping boots (300k) and emperor hairpin (400k) >< And I know you monks have some tough expenses too. Not that I added anything to the thread ><

Heh that always gets me. Being a ninja, when i hear mages say that, i just laugh. It is humerous hehe

Every job, if played right, is expensive. I think mages complaints stem from two reasons that are inherent in their jobs. 1) Spells have no resale value... If in a tight bind for gil, we can't turn and sell a spell back. 2) We can't farm very well so that avenue for making gil is a bit gimped, making gil a bit harder to make.

I don't necessarily agree with either of these complaints.. but IMO, that's where it stems.

IMO, those who complain about the price of their jobs should go find another.... then another.. then another... (only to realize they're ALL expensive in their own way!!) Energy spent complaining is energy not spent on looking for a solution... There are those who complain.. and those who just get the job done!

You know, you have a point there Mujuru. Now that i think of it, everyone job can be expensive in its own way. The thing i dont like is what i meant to say is that fact that people complain that one job is more expensive than someone else's.

Agreed... Every job can be more expensive than others! But that should be something one takes pride in rather than something to complain about! If you're playing your job to the fullest, it SHOULD be expensive! So pat yourself on the back!

What bothers me in a PT is when someone uses the expense of their job as an excuse not to use appropriate food! There's cheap and expensive food for every job... I view the usage of food as a telltale sign of how serious a player is about doing their job! No food= XP leech! Cheap food=can't afford the good stuff, but at least they're trying (and you can't knock someone for trying). Expensive food=serious business! (its time for me to break out the good stuff as well!)

Wow... i just went off topic!! lol!! sorry leet!^^
