Hello my name is Javolin. I live in Bastok but travel abroad. Some of my favorite passtimes are rideing chocobos and fishing. I also enjoy exploreing new areas. Sometimes when I finish my day I go back to my mog house for a good nights rest and something very interesting happens. Maybe I need profesional help from Cid but I will tell you. I have a dream that I wake up and I am in a place called south carolina and I have something called a job that is very demanding. What a relief though that I wake back up in my mog house safe and sound. Boy am I glad that my dreams arent the real world. Does anyone else have this happen to them? I caint be the only one!

My name is Will and im a FF addict. I work two jobs but have no problem losing sleep to play FF as much as I can. I have beaten every FF made and this one is the most addictive.

Is that wrong? I also admit, that when i am not playing the game, FFXI has been embedded into my brain permanently. Here is a list of a few things i do...
1) When I laugh, i say "w".
2) When I am at work, I check my co-workers to see what equipment they have.
3) When I am drinking applejuice, I feel |refresh|ed.
4) While I'm at work, I browse the forums all day instead of working.
5) When i am on the train, I search for people who are "looking for party".
6) I associate days of the week with Vanadiel days(i.e firesday, iceday, etc).
7) If I want to leave work early, I make sure my boss doesn't agro.
8) I look at my watch to see when i should feed my plants.
9) I try to make supper with fire crystals, but can't find any
10) I go to the bank and ask them to exchange my money for gil, but they look at me funny.

heh tomdal. My boss agro's to sight and sound. So yea, i have to be very careful, make sure i have oils and powders. If i dont, he agro's me, and then i cant leave /sigh

OO boy. Don't even get me started lol. I have had about 30 days of playtime between my 3 characters in the past 6 months. I have wasted so much of my time playing this and I just quit 3 days ago. Man am I hurtin! That's all I think about. Just want to play and I'm trying to resist. Problem is this is the 2nd time I've tried quitting and it's just so hard once you've put that much time into your character. My 3rd character that I just deleted was named "texastoast". 30 whm.20smn and got sick of the avatar fights. I figured there's better stuff to do then sit down for 14 hours in one day and play this game. Even though I loved playing =(. The main problem with this game and the way people get addicted just like me is this... You could play the game for a solid 10 hours or more in a day and feel like you got a lot done but when you wake up tomorrow, there is just as much to do because the game never ends. So your always hungry for more because there is no end. I consider it not to be a video game but more of a second life, honestly. There was so many times I ignored friends phonecalls because I was in a kick *** party and I "couldnt leave". It takes over your life and when your done playing an entire day straight, good job! Because no one in real life except for 2 of your friends that play give a flying s*it! lol Not trashing you guys at all, this is how I felt about myself. Not sure if Ill get back into it, even though everyday that's all I think about =(. I'm out, peace

I have the same problem. I bought the game hoping that I would be able to quit smoking, now I need to break myself away from playing every 2 hours to go outside for 5 and have a smoke. Grrr.
