Any Uncommon jobs on Cerberus??Follow

Yeah, I've considered subbing NIN on WHM or BLM for the stat-whored dual wielding of wands, but I don't think it's worth it.

On BLM, it's definitely not worth losing all your white magic: You wouldn't be able to back-up heal/emergency heal, sneak/invis yourself around, Blink/Stoneskin yourself, pull a Div Seal + Curaga to reduce downtime, Raise the WHM (if high enough BLM level) in a worst case scenario, etc.

WHM/NIN would be more reasonable, but I'm not sure how much more useful more MND would be as opposed to the MP boost you would get from a BLM or SMN sub. Not to mention that if you're Taru, you probably get the same bonus from the BLM or SMN sub that you would get from that extra wand.

SMN/NIN would just be dumb. You definitely need that extra MP from the BLM or WHM sub, and the extra magic is actually useful, especially white magic.

Of course, you might be subbing NIN for an entirely different reason that I don't know of and would be interested to hear.

As for uncommon jobs, we all know that SMN/MNK is where it's at!

I originally had the idea of becoming a powerful SAM/RNG, but when I got the job, I realized it wasn't nearly as fun as I thought it would be. Monk has given me the most enjoyment, so from now I'm just a Monk, usually subbing WAR, THF or SAM. It's all good.

I started off as a THF/WHM thinking I was "original" and doing something different. Stuck with it all the way to lvl30, despite being kicked from parties and suffering ridicule from others saying it was "a worthless combination". Now I'm a RNG/THF which I thought would be pretty common, but I see a lot more RNG/WAR and RNG/NIN than I do RNG/THFs. On the other hand though, while leveling my Ranger, I came across quite a few THF/WHMs which I thought was a little strange, because I'd never seen anyone other than myself use that combination. But if you're looking for just uncommon jobs, I'd have to say Bard is the least common job that I've seen, followed by Beastmaster (although, I prob. don't see a lot of BST since they're normally solo'ing). Next uncommon, I would say is Ranger, although, here lately, I have seen a lot of high level ninjas (or either very rich n00bs) leveling their Rangers. (I personally prefer a RNG/SAM SAM/RNG combo than a ninja). But as far as your WHM is concerned, you might want to try WHM/MNK. I partied with one a while back, and they were surprisingly good. A lot better than you'd expect. But the final decision is up to you. Choose any combo you want, just so long as you have fun doing it. That's my motto.
