#1 Apr 17 2009 at 8:15 PM Rating: Good
Well, due to the lack of help that ive come across on this server ive decided to rid myself of my account,. but, before i do this. i have a few items that im going to give away on April 30th.

Those items are.

-Ochiudo's Kote
-Brown Belt
-Emperor Hairpin
-Fuma Kyahan
-Scorpion Harness

-Eremite +1's x2
-Saintly ring +1 x2

*Other Items*

-Victory Ring
-Garrulous Ring
-Taru set on WooOoOnder gear
-Baron gear set
-Seers gear set

Those are the main things.

-And they're is a wack of furniture that ill count as 1 item.

The way it works is like this.

If anyone does respond to this, you can pick 2 items, rate them as the one that you would prefer first. Ill put names into a hat, and pick, everyone that has thier item as thier 1st pick ill put their name in the hat twice, since its their 1st pick ,and 1 name into the hat for all seconds choices. Might sound funny, but hey, its my sh*t :P I can so what me wants to do with it hehe.

So, send Pm's on here, and ill give the stuff away on the 30th.

Have you tried finding a solid Linkshell? Something social or casual? I'd give it some more thought before you do this? Always sad to see people go.

But if you do go, does anyone know if it's possible to have stuff sent to your inbox when your account is deactive? I'm reactivating this summer in a month or so...

If it is possible I'd like to be put down for the Scorp Harness and Emp Hairpin please...

Also, what is the furnite? never heard of that item? Do you mean furniture?

Ah, yea it was furniture. :) Thanks for clarifying, haha. If it's not to much trouble would you mind saying what the furniture was?

I see...

Its your call, but I wouldn’t be prepared to throw in the towel because you couldn’t get a group of people together for ZM at lvl 57, in three days. I'm not trying to be harsh, but 3 days is not much time to organize a full ZM run, especially at lvl 57. The forums here are pretty dead, but you might have better luck with LS groups or even /cringe /shout groups.

I was once eager to advance like you, however, you must realize that the best way to advance through the story is to advance your levels first. I know it becomes an XP grind easily, but you are much more flexible to 'adventure' when you have more at your disposable in way of your job. I had to accept this too. Same goes for CoP, its only level capped for so long, then when you are uncapped its infinitely easier with high level parties.

I did ZM at 70, I would recommend going for at least level 70, then find a group of people at that level to push through ZM. Its not a terribly difficult mission set, until some of the big battles after sky. Plus you wont be doing much of anything in sky until later levels anyway. And if you happen to organize a good group before then, that’s always a bonus.

My playtime is somewhat limited. I work 10hr days 11 on 3 off, but if I am available I would help out if I was given enough notice to be ready and stock up on some basic items I am missing.

I agree with DexxH. There isn't any point in really doing ZM at 57 either.

However, like I mentioned in PMs, I have no problem helping you with ZMs since they are all very easy to do. I have a wide variety of jobs but at 57 you will need at least one other 75 to help me because I cannot, unfortunately, solo Kam'lanaut (though I have read accounts of it being done...never tried myself).

Agreed. Chains of Promathia is just about the only mission you can do inch-by-inch--the level caps make it easy for you to complete one chapter, get a few levels, the complete the next chapter.

It's a shame that you want to go. My advice would be to quit on a good note--try to find a linkshell that makes you happy, and enjoy the game. You clearly have the gear and drive to level to 75; missions aren't all that important yet.

A very generous thing of you to do, Mastra. I feel bad doing this, but seeing as I'm dirt poor, the two items I'd choose(ordered by preference) are:
1. Fuma Kyahan
2. Baron gear set

If you reconsider quitting, I'd be more than happy in joining you on Zilart Missions since I haven't even started on mine either. My highest job is 60 DRG, so not sure how much of a help I could be but I try to be on as often as I can between my full time job and college so I'd love to set aside a day or two to get everything completed at once.

Hairpin and Harness puhlease

Like many others have said tho. If you just wait til you have 75. These things will be sooo much easier to do.
For example:
I got 75 dnc then slaved these out with solo and sometimes up to 4 of us. Much easier when everyone is 75. With my present merits now, I probably could even solo the 2 monkeys.
It's a pain in the *** gettin stuff done sometimes. Best idea anymore is to shout in AU or eventually find a well organized ls. We have quite a few people in BattlehoundsII at various points in their ZMs pre and post Sky. It just takes some time.
ONe big thing that me and a few friends have agreed on.
If you have the opportunity to get further along....TAKE IT! DO not wait on folks for the perfect opportunity....will most likely never happen

All i have to say is wow! Your quiting 9 days after you came back? I know for me whenever i need help i sit in wg and shout for a bit. Might be boring nut it usually works. Another idea is get to lvl 65 than get a dynamis ls. Most groups that run dynamis also run sky and are always looking for healers, wich means theyd most likely help u with the zms.

You should also realize u came back bout the time of the new expansion, and most ppl are busy with that content. Im guessing though from reading your 2 posts that you just want someone to take you by the hand and lead you through everything. Sorry not the way it works ingame or real life.Sounds like you just like feeling sorry for yourself.

Sorry to see you go, hopefully you will follow the advice of others in this thread and give FFXI another shot!

If you do end up going though, please add me in for the (#1) Ochiudo's Kote, and (#2) Fuma Kyahan raffles.

You can reach me through this thread, or in a PM :)

hey come find me or someone in battlehoundsII. We are making a huge push to get through the zm's and get people sky access. I'm not going to pretend I didn't send you a PM about stuff, but if ZM help is making you quit, I can get you past that hurdle.

Hmmm.... My suggestion would be to not give out all your stuff right off the bat. Aside of a few breaks, I have officially quit and come back twice, and been glad all my stuff was still there when I did.

That being said, I will still put down my name anyway, but will not get upset if you decide to stay in the game and cancel your raffle.

1: O. Kote
2: Scorpion Harness
