Hello, this is sort of one of those "returning players" post. But I'm not going to ask you for gil, or whether or not it's still "worth it" etc etc...

My wife and myself have played World of Warcraft for almost 3 years now, she still loves it but I'm just bored... We did all the 40 man raids pre-Burning Crusade.. and dabble in the entry level end game raids now. But I don't enjoy the game as a whole anymore, so I'm looking to get back into Final Fantasy.

Looking probably isn't the right word for it, being I already bought the collection for Xbox. X_x What I was wanting to know is how active the community is. I'm choosing Bismarck because an old friend of mine plays here still, but I can't get in touch with her to get the information so I decided to post here.

How active is the community? Is end game still alive? Is it something that would be worth my time to level to 75 and have potential to "raid" in FFXI, is that still a living breathing beast?

I don't remember her character name =X she's been playing for a long time though, I'll have to get it from her when I get in touch with her (obviously)
