Happy Father's Day!

MY HERO

As I ponder the love that I saw in his eyes,
A Godly love, given without compromise....
I recall many times that he stood by my side,
And prodded me on with great vigor and pride.

His voice ever confident, firm and yet fair,
Always speaking with patience, tenderness and care.
The power and might of his hands was so sure,
I knew there was nothing we couldn't endure.

It's true, a few others provided insight,
Yet, he laid the foundation that kept me upright.
He's the grandest of men to have lived on this earth,
Although he's not royal by stature or birth.

He's a man of great dignity, honor and strength.
His merits are noble, and of admirable length.
He's far greater than all other men that I know,
He's my Dad, he's my mentor, my friend and hero.

My daughter is only a month old, but if she could speak she'd probably say that, I am only good at Burping her and getting her to fall asleep while I play this damned game with her on my chest(very uncomfortable to do this I might add, but well worth it when she falls asleep^^), LOL^^.

She's more interested in staring at the couch then me right now(I don't know what's so interesting about a Dark Blue striped couch, but it's cool I geuss), I'll take the falling asleep fast on my chest as a sign that she loves me^^.

Happy Fathers Day to all the other Fathers out there, enjoy your children today, and go outside and play. Or do what I did, (cuz I have a newborn) just stare at them while they sleep and enjoy it cuz as soon as they wake up it's on for the screaming, LMAO. So fun, so fun O.O. But well worth it^^, well worth it by a longshot.
