Do me a favor & get payed!Follow

So as I asked my LS if I could solo the Corsair quest, they pretty much just laughed at me. Yeah, but I have guts, so I tried it. After waltzing through Caedarva as a lvl 7 rdm, using only sneak, invis, and my witt, I find myself stuck at an iron gate.

Well the first way I could fix it would be to go to the ??? in caedarva and get a key myself. However I am sorry to inform you that that didn't work. I tried it, no workie. I took off invis, no workie. Obviously I'm not going to get a key from that ???.

So my other options are to warp back to Nashmau and wait for someone to take me through again... Or, some kind soul, such as a thief, could come pick the lock for me. Once again, reward involved. All I need is for one of you fine thieves (or people with a fang key) to come to (J-10) of Arrapago Reef, and help me out.

All you have to do is unlock the iron gate and get me through. Then I'll reward you with 25k. Sound like a fair trade?

Please post if you think you can help. It's rather urgent as I'm almost out of powders/oils, but I'm currently logged off and waiting for your post. Please post when you can come, and if you are picking the lock or otherwise.

I soloed cor quest I was lvl 68blm/whm though, so yea, but if you have snk/invis stuff shouldnt be too hard. I got a tad lost since I didnt have map but thats where ffxi-atals is your friend :D
To get a Lamian Fang key : To get the Lamia Fang Key, carefully get on the ledge at I-7; you can walk right up above it and simply fall onto it. There are some Fetid Flesh-type creatures which need to be careful when walking around. Also, walkling through the muck may result in Gravity-type effect on your character. Alright guys thanks for the help. Actually I figured out what I was doing wrong. There are two ???s in the same <pos> of the mire, and since I had no map I was clicking on the wrong one. I ended up getting the correct key and completing the quest solo.

Currently I'm in Sandy as a lvl 6 COR/WAR. Very happy! ^_^
