god i miss this game....i want to come back so bad but i know if i do then i hafta spend a month or two farming for all the gear i need to replace what i gave away when i quit....i'm almost willing to do it....just not 100% sure if i can make myself hunt down the disks and play again.

as of now i have re-installed everything and started downloading updates, but i have NOT re-activated my content IDs. still debating on whether or not i can really come back.

A strong man deletes EVERYTHING and tosses the rest when he quits.

A weak man gives his gear away on loan and then asks for it back when his will power caves.

A dumb man forgets where he put the discs so he just forgets about the game.

A smart man doesnt put down the Wii controller.




And for the record, last time I was at Best Buy I am almost considered getting the 360 version of FFXI just to mess around with. But then I remembered that I deleted everything and all the time it took to get it and its just too much work to restart. Be strong Bal, or Aron and I will give you a swift kick in the nuts. Actually, I'm pretty sure Aron just hands those out for no reason anyways so be on the look out.

It's too bad your a Dragoon or more people would have welcomed you back.

just stay away balfor, ive been clean for like 7 months now... wonder if i still have all my money and gear, could make a killing with this destroyed economy

I have been FF XI clean since September of '06 now... that is 7 months, cold turkey. But lately, as you can see, I have been stalking the allakhazam boards. If they do some "Come Home Vana'Diel" program again this summer, I may very well may come back.

But the fact is, I would have to start over from level 1, pretty much all of my friends have quit, and would have no LS to come home to... and every time I get the itch to play, I remind myself of all that.

._.; Case and point, I can't make up my damned mind. I got so freaking bored in PSU, it was just the same thing over and over and over... and the maturity level was far below this game (which is hard to do ;;>.>). It just made me want to play FF every time I logged into PSU.

I miss trolling AH, I miss sitting in my MH chatting with people while lfg...

Alas... If I could just have my loverly 75 DRG, I would be more then willing to come back. Think there is anyway to talk some guy at POL over into getting my POL ID and content ID stuff back after 7 months? x.X; As it stand, my POL ID is gone to the abyss, so I would have to buy a new game/expansions in order to get access codes.

You did not send me any gil or items when you left therefore you may as well not have come back.

why do people keep bumping this topic when i've already been back in game for 3-4 months?

thats probably because i only play in the mornings due to my job. that and i play city of heroes/villains more than ffxi.
