Hello everyone,
^^ Just checking in and saying hi (assuming people actually know who I am). I was the one and only Weakness, Dragoon extraordinaire. Hope everyone is doing good, and if anyone remembers me and am curious as to what I am up to. =P I just finished getting my EMT-B, am still dating my girlfriend (her name was Arefine in game), paramedic classes start in March, and I am playing PSU avidly.
So how is everyone doing? Is the server still good? I have heard of a dwindling population and just came to see how true it was. The economy still as craptastic as ever? What big events (updates, end game drama, that sort of thing) have happened in the six or so months I have been away?

Economy sucks, undercutting ******** abound. Lots of older players are quitting.
That's about it in a nutshell. I haven't heard any endgame drama. IRON and EH became one and that's about the biggest news around the HNM that I've heard.

As far as I can tell, pretty much everyone I knew as a friend has quit (save a select few). So in reality there isn't much worth coming back to with my antisocial, whiny, assholish nature... =P Game isn't the same without friends, and beside I don't think I could save my character anyway.
Good to see a few people still trolling the boards though.

I'm doing pretty good. I see the message board here has died down quite a bit. But for the most part I have been doing well. Dealing with real life, but been having a little down time until Paramedic classes start. And of course my mind started to wonder to better days.
I have been playing PSU to maintain my boredom to a minimum. But it lacks that certain charm that FF XI had.
I dunno, I have just been missing the community a lot... I liked running past the same people every day, partying with people I knew I would see again, I miss the infamous people that everyone knew, I miss my Linkshell.
=/ As sad as it may sound, it just makes me a little teary eyed when I think of all the good times I had in FF that are never gonna happen in another game. No other online game is quite the same after FF XI... despite all its flaws, it was perfect I guess to say.
