Looking for 'Seva'....Follow

#1 Jun 30 2006 at 12:23 PM Rating: Good
This might be someone's mule, I really don't know: but if you are Seva, or if you know her, please send me a /t ingame.

She overpaid me 9k for a 2k item. It's not a lot of money, but I would want the gil back if it were me: I've tried sending her the money and shouting in Windy, but I can't get ahold of her. :(

I had to take the money out of the box, as it was sent on a mule and I couldn't send gil to my bank character with it in there. I will give the money to her ingame, please let her know if you know who this is.

._.

I missed FFXI too much. WoW had too many griefers and was too easy, and when I heard that I could level my BST again in the new areas, I had to try again. I couldn't stay away. Smiley: cry

I wish there were more honest people like you playing FFXI. Granted, overpaying is mainly the buyer's mistake, I think the seller should be honest and give back the gil that was overpaid. An example of this is when I paid 2mil for the lvl 55 R.K. Chainmail when it was only going for ~500k. This was way back during the crazy inflation period. I guess it was someone's mule but I never heard a word from that person.

Anyway, welcome back!

Thank you ^^

As for the money, I am a firm believer in karma. I used to wait tables, and I still always tip a lot when I eat out: the Buddhists believe that you get what you give, that it all comes around, and I do believe that.
It works nicely into do-unto-others, but you get the bonus of getting the good karma back eventually.
I would like to think that next time my noobish self overpays, someone thinks twice and helps me out. I haven't done it yet, but odds are that I will, and I have a lot of time built up: I'm sure when I do it will be outrageous.

It's just basic courtesy really, I'm sure people do it every day all over Bismarck without making threads about it. ;) I just really wish I could find out who this is, it's starting to make me a little crazy. Smiley: lol

Smiley: laugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You had to go and bring up the tathlums, didn't you? How did you know? TELL ME YOUR INFORMANT!!!

Four so far. Three morion, and one oh-my-God-I'm-going-to-Mijin-Gakure Phantom Tathlum. The last one I threw at a level 45 WAR when I quit, so now it's part of a Hauby on some guy somewhere. xD

I went and searched all over Garlaige, the Sanctuary and Boyhada. Didn't find a single one, and none have drifted back to me yet. xD

edit: bad mathematics xD

Hahahaha, I knew you'd get a kick out of that one. You told me yourself, ages ago. Maybe it was after your 2nd or 3rd toss.

Ahhh, how quick we are to forget our own stupidity. I have some winners myself, but I'm not about to go out disclosing my own idiocy to the general public. They probably have enough stories as it is.

Try checking some of the cracks in the floor in Garlaige. I hear lost junk has a tendancy to find its way into those.

Seriously, very good to see you back Sioux. As I've said before, your sense of humor is one of a kind.
