Hi there FFXI family.
I was away for some reason, and now I am thinking of a come back in the game, sadly I dont have anything left of my previous char "and" I was wondering how was the economie in your Server, especialy Bismark cause it was where I last played the game and i'd like to go back there. Sadly i aint a crazy ****** player that'd camp a Notorious monster for 5 hours, so i cannot make money that way and as far as I remember, that was one of the only way to make "good" gil in the past months. Ho's the current situation? i heard alot of SE's action, but do YOU see a difference? (oh I rememeber seeing leaping boots 1 600k, when it was first 250-450k)

Anyway... to answer that question of yours. During christmas time, because of the stupid RTM mainly, there was a huge entry of gil in circulation. Prices went crazy crazy for a while(100k sole sushi!? WTH?). However, prices have begun to fall down recently because nobody simply buy those crazy expensive item anymore, thus Seller started to under-cut a bit. Prices went down... of course, the prices will never fall to like those in NA PC release (when leaping boots were still sold in AHs beside jeuno).
But keep in mind, that while prices on luxury item went up, so did the prices of farmable items. The proportion is still the same it used to be in many cases, the numbers are simply bigger.
Anywho, while farming is often a chore, it is a necessary evil. The only way out of it would be gil-buying, which is highly stupid and un-ethical.

I been away from FFXI for a lil while... hehe, u know, since alot of our buddy might get back there this summer, I better catch up, since I "deleted" everything. You remember, I was playing with 1 single char, and I'll be back with 1 single again, time to revive my first FFXI char I'f da taru-no wanna mean :P lol jk, hehe.
Seriously, the Price are still "that" high? I remember when I was lvling a job in the 17th~~ I wanted to buy s subligar and none regular one at the AH, xcept the +1 one at 60k(bone one ), that was completely nuts, perhaps I can borrow u some gil my dear friend _(._.)_
