I was just curious to know if there is a linkshell on Bismarck for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender players (and LGBT-friendly players, too). I know Fairy has Children of Altana, but I was wondering if Bismarck had one too. If there isn't one already, is there anyone out there who would be interested in joining one if I create it? It would just be a place where all players, casual or hardcore, could ask questions, get help with missions, and just chat without having to worry about what people would think about their sexuality. It would be a linkshell where "that RDM was so gay" isn't an insult, it's just a fact.
I'm seriously thinking about creating a LGBT linkshell, but I just wanted to test the waters a bit before I went out and actually made one. I don't want to step on anyone's toes if there is one, and I don't want to make my own if there is zero interest, cause I'm sure it's frustrating to make a linkshell, only to have nobody join. So, just let me know what you think, either in this thread or in-game. I look forward to hearing your comments! ^^

But I can't help but notice that the most popular 'gay-friendly' LS (well, at least the one the poster here mentioned) is on the FAIRY server?

I dont think I've come across any. But you cant tell by the name of the pearl. I am in a windy link tho. Crazy taru's!
Maybe you should try speaking with members of a similar linkshell, and see if there is a site to guide you. Or just start one urself.

There is a Taru on Bismark goes by the name of Mancandy, and if I remember correctly, he is the leader of a gay linkshell.

I rated you up for people rating you down (homophobes?) but anyways, if you make a linkshell I know the LGBTA is also all about heterosexual supporters of the LGBTA, so I'd join up.
And I'll do anything Anna does twice... so... more rate ups, except for Apollo, I've seen how he treats people not of his "choice".

Mancandy is in one of my LS. I think he's in a gay linkshell as well, even if he doesn't run one. I haven't seen him on our LS in a while so that might explain why.

Just wanted to thank you all for your input and supportive comments! ^.^ And I agree that most people on Bismarck are just fine with gay players. I just had talked to a couple people who'd had bad experiences in other linkshells. Besides, there's just something to be said for community, y'know? ^.^ Still undecided about starting the linkshell, but thanks a lot for your comments! ^.^
(And I'm 99% sure that the "Fairy" thing was intentional, but it still cracks me up, too) :D
