Rank6 is the most hilarious mission.Follow

Ergh, stupid thing posted nothing <.< one sec while I type it.

-edit-
First of all, yes it can be annoying if you have more than 6 people with you that need to do it, since castle zvahl is very dangerous and you need to sneak/invis a whole alliance through the keep. We had about 10 people I believe. So we would struggle to move like 10 steps, and as soon as we actually get far, we see 10-15 demons run straight at one of our members. Somehow he managed to aggro one and he followed him all over the place, bringing a bunch of his friends along. So one of the parties, myself included, is completely decimated, and while the DRK tractors us and we get raises we lose about 40 minutes. Our BLM(A very crucial person in this mission) told us he had to leave soon, that was fine, we kept going because we had 2 RDMs, and we could handle the nuking part pretty well. So we get to the keep, but our DRK dies before that, takes us 40 more mins to raise him since he was near T mobs and spells drop invis...so I had to tractor him all over the place.
After we make it to the keep, we go through some ore doors, some teleports, our NIN d/cs XD.
At this point I had to log, but not before reaching the throne room, I wanted to know at least where to go so it wouldn't be so slow next time.
Our THF decided to stay in the throne room till it's done, which I also found funny. He's stranded there for a while.
So if anyone wants to help with this mission you're welcome to, but I would suggest to keep it to a minimum, as in no alliances, since it can and will result in deaths.
All in all, it was actually pretty funny, Even though I was mad at dying I couldn't stop laughing when we started to poke fun at the person who made the train. It was fun, but I wish I could've finished it.

*waits in the Throne Room for 100 years*

It's like some really crappy fairy tale. The poor lady stuck on the top of a tower alone, and no where to go...waiting for someone to rescue her. >.>

At least the view is nice up here. ; ;

And you're not really a lady, per se.

Oh geez. So that's what I missed?

I'm sorry, I have to laugh when I think about Ark tractoring poor Kulgan (I'm assuming that's the drk you were talking about) all over the Castle. Or maybe I'm just easily amused.

Cel, did you ever get out of there?

For some insane reason that's par for the course in this game; I remember Rank 4 being like that (sneak and invis wearing constantly, in the midst of Tower Bats and Gigas Wallwatchers that could have whacked us in a blow).

And Rank 5...(sneak and invis wearing constantly, with Orcish Something-or-Others on all sides, Quadav Something-or-Others, Yagudo Priors and so on).

I think the last mission I completed that DIDN'T involve scurrying around with a blanket over my head was Save the Children. It kind of messes up the whole heroic tone of the game, and makes it slightly funny when the Embassy hugs you and says "Oh, you're so BRAVE!"

All in all it's probably best just to solo some of these missions, as long as fighting NMs isn't involved ;) sneak/invis on more than two people quickly turns into waiting in line to ride a coaster at Disneyworld. You go two feet, and stop; two feet, and stop.

Yeah. 'twas Kulgan.
And it was funny that I was the only one that noticed he died(I thought the 0 HP might've been their first hint), then I told the WHM to come give him Raise2 and he happened to die in this really annoying hallway that is constantly patrolled by a T demon.
So I had to wait till the demon turned around and be all like "GOGOGOGOGOGO!" and tractor kulgan quickly to the other side so that he remains unseen to the demon. But the demon kept turning, so it took us 20 minutes to get that done, the other 20 minutes no one even knew he was dead.

Negative, I'm stuck up there till the "troops" come and poke the Shadow Lord with me.

As for seeing Kulgan die...I saw his HP go from 1100 to 0 in a matter of seconds..but I was also fearing for my life with Alauce while he was sleeping 4-5 Yags after pulling aggro. XD

All in all, I think the best way of doing this would be to go up in groups of 2, and not 2 full groups of 6. >.<

When I did it no one knew where the hell we were going. So, it was kind of a mess too. When we did get up close to the top our paladin got sight of the door that goes to the altar room and dances with glee. I guess he didn't notice that he aggro'd two of those higher level eyes up there and took not one, but two Tornados. Instant death heh. Fun times! :D

I would like to join in and beat the shadow lord, but I'm too low level. I just finished the Fae'Yin mission a couple of nights ago.

I rock the shadow lords world.

I'd run up there today and slap him around with ya, but unfortunately there's a hurricane wanting to eat me. :)

Well, we don't have to do it today, I mean, first of all, SE's taking their weekly 8 hour lunch break. And second of all, I find cel stuck in a throne room the most hilarious thing ever. So by all means, let's wait a few more days. =P

I plan on trying to make a run to save celest tonight before set party starts. We have to wait till 8 est. to start set so there should be time to go save celest and kill the SL.

I'm in. I have a map this time, so hopefully I won't get turned into a recepticle for many hundreds of angry lonely Yagudo.
