Currently, my main character is a rank 5(thanks Karaya^^)
mithran blm named Trik.
I just recently hit lvl 50 and have stopped lvling temporarily to catch up on spells and equipment. for the past severale days i have spent large amounts of time in the valkurm dunes, originaly hunting the emperor i eventualy gave up the nm camping (ADD is not condusiv to long periodes of waiting)
and instead have begun something iv wanted to do since i first started this game. that is, iv been helping newbs/low lvl vets
with the tediousness of lvling in valkurm.
sitting at the entrance to selbina, i do my best to pull the links/agros/trains off those running to zone (and more then once almost died bc i took to much=/), as im lvl 50 blm/whm i can also raise those who need it (something considered to be a waste of time to many higher lvls) and have even power leveled a few groups, some because friends were in them, others
simply because i could.

I grant warp II's and though my bazaar statment says
'Warp II: 500 gil' i dont usualy enforce this, even tho i am by no means wealthy (current gil- 811 /cry ;;).
in fact iv never requested gil for any of these things iv done in the dunes, and though i will accept gil for warps i only do so when it is offerd.
many people may not understand why i do all of this.
Part of it is boredom, part of it is lack of anything els to do.
but mostly, its because i enjoy it, i remember the things iv been through to achieve my current lvl and rank, though i have had help with many things, the majority of what iv done iv had to do myself, iv never had a static set party nor did i have any high lvl friends to help me early on. that is why i try to help lower lvls now.

So anyway, If you are ever in the dunes and need help, feel free to ask me if im there, if i can help i will, though if im /anon it likely means im busy, i can still grant a warp or give a raise (assuming im the right job of course). however, despite my willingness to help, i refrain from powerlvling individual players, and only do parties now and then. i also am not able to giv any amount of gil (as usualy have very little).

as my lvl increases i will be able to expand beyond the dunes in helping other players, untill then i will likely be there when i have nothing els to do, helping new players and vets lvln subs. despite my lvl and my rank, i am in no way an elite player, thus i may not be able to help with advice on certain things. in many ways i still concider me to be a newb myself. which is why i have not applied for mentor status and probably wont for quite a while.

see you in game,
Blessed be, my friend...

I think this is a stage everyone goes through once they've leveled high enough. Personally I remembered how I was the first time I went to Valkurm or whatever, and I like to go to lower level places and help people out. Hopefully once they get high, they will do the same. After ive got my AF I've been helping a lot of people get theres. Its just one of the great things about this game that makes the community so much better.
