To synthesize a Bastokan Circlet.

I'd be willing to pay a few thousand gil, and take all responsibillity for materials. If anyone is interested, please either post here or /tell Fortytwo when I'm on.

So Hip, you get that circlet back? Or buy me another one? And yes, I do realize I was trusting a guy who ran a casino and was hated serverwide. You could just send me 25k or whatever, if buying an item is too hard for you.

If you're still looking, I have 28 goldsmithing. It's high enough to do this recipe reliably, but not high enough to get a surprise HQ. I'd do it, though.

No, I'm not looking, just bugging Hiptaru until he gives my circlet back or buys me another. He claims he gave it to the guy he was trading to as part of his casino:

Me>> Circlet?
Him>> I gave it to you
Me>> No, you didn't, I'll check again...
Me>> Nope.
Him>> Crap, I must have given it to (forgot the guy's name)

Much swearing at that other guy later, he offers to buy me another one. This was a week ago.

Even if he does give you one tonight, you still shouldn't "forgive" him. For someone that has so much money, he's taken at least 9 days (dunno when the original event actually happened, just that your post asking for it back was on the 12th) to spend such a small amount either buying you a new one or paying you the money for it. Since he doesn't actually need you to be online at the same time to use the deliverybox, he can't even fall back on the excuse of not "seeing" you.

Actually, my current plan is to keep this story in reserve, link to this thread on GameFAQs (because, come on, we're all flamers over there, really), and tell many people. Because I'm evil.
