Help me, I'm in disbelief...Follow

I love how you use the word "most" and generalize.
Our LS could very well turn into an HNM LS, if we wanted it to...Unfortunately, as cel explained, we choose not to. Why? Because those LS's are all **** about the game. "Come to dynamis on said date or you're out of the LS" or "Play at least 23:59 hours a day or you're out of the LS".
This is sad and pathetic, I struggle with pick up parties to do my AF, or get help from my current LS. Instead of having it the easy way out and joining an HNM ls and get all my AFs and avatars done in 10 minutes, which sounds like something you would choose to do.
Listen though, if you've a shred of intellect, shut your mouth now.
I won't bother checking back, I'll just let this thread slide to the bottom of the forums, you point things out that are irrelevant to the original post.

The point of my post, if you haven't read is that such things happens and you have a long road ahead of you. If you don't like what happened to you don't do it to other people.

Oooooh. NOW I get it. Thank you SO much for clearing that up. Seriously, I had no idea this thing called "experience" could happen by witnessing things that you eventually learn from.
This is a real eye-opener, I don't see how no one else ever thought of that.

Hmm...seems to me you're still trying to prove something, oh yeah, that you've been wronged and how dare I came and justified the terrible things that happen to you. So you like your LS, so my long soliloquy on the endgame scene suddenly veered the thread into a new direction missing your original point, what is the point of your thread again? to whine? to inform people of a bad thing that happened?

Hey well here's a respond about someone who thinks you're upsetting over a small thing. Everything else was brought up by your little body guard hence prompting me to waste more words in trying to explain the single motive of my respond from the beginning: Its bad yes, but you're overacting, chill, its a long game for you yet.

Anything else regarding the merit or lackthereof of HNM ls vs your family atmosphere ls are only there because you brought it in your self. Yay why the essay on end game scene when its irrelavent to this thread? cause someone @ level 55 made a comment "guessing" what he think the end game is gonna be (face it, if you made it to 75, you WILL more than once associate with Cyrex or Meowthy again). But most people won't because they like what they're doing now, and will never make it to end game and if they're having fun more power to them.

If you're never gonna make it to end game and enjoy hanging out around here playing your way then fine, you will never have to deal with them again, but hey you probly want to enjoy all the game have to offer right? Well then a thread like this over this little matter will be very counter productive (its not like you've even attempted to find out what might have caused the event to happen, ooh you've been wronged, they are bad people..must post on alla to inform.)

If you made a thread to "whine" or "inform" about a travesty of social Vana'diel justice only to dispel insights from a different perspective, well then why not just ***** about it on your LS where everyone will surely agrees with you.

Thanks Cel for trying to make me and Cyrex into some evil snooty higher ranking players. I can understand why you were upset that you were turfed because two friends wanted to exp, but was it really that bad that you had to go post something so trivial? In retrospect we should have approached you instead of trying to talk to the Japanese party leader, but live and learn.

But what's particularly amusing is that you left your less than diplomatic tell to me with the conveniently omitted obscenity along with the apology I sent you regarding the miscommunication we had with JP party leader AND the comment "Japanese Party = death".

I could've been the @#%^ and let them all die, but instead I sacrificed my party's well-being for them. You would think a simple Thank you, or /bow would have happened from them...but nothing.

Do you really expect us to placate you after our incident? And no, we would not have wiped, but it was nice of you to take the link even though we had it taken care of.

(Meowthy) I have a link!
(Cyrex) No problem I'll sleep it!

The thing is, it was a spur of the moment, "I was pissed off" post about 10 minutes after it happened. The thread then fell down to the bottom of the forum, then to be bumped up to the top again after some random people decided to post in it.

I'm not pissed off anymore, but your post opened my eyes and made me believe that you don't actually care about what happened.

Example I: There's a party somewhere off leveling and I log in wanting to exp with a friend in the group, my friend being the party leader decides to boot someone so I can exp with them. Let's say you're the person booted here, how do you feel? I bet it's not that good is it? Granted, we weren't actually out exp'ing yet, but the party was full, and half the people were waiting at the chocobo stables to take off for Boyahda. And after 5 minutes you would think that the party would be set in stone, yes?

Does this example differ from what really happened? I think not.

This is just the kind of cocky attitude that I was speaking of, and thankfully you proved it for me. ^^

Let this thread die already, it's just leading to more bickering.

Hmm probably should let this thread die but I want a piece of the action of this debate :X

After reading all the posts, or so I think :P here's what I got to say:

After hearing what happened I don't blame Cyrex in anyway. If I am forming a party and I invite some job (lets say MNK for the hell of it ;] ) and at around the same time I see a friend or past player I partied with LFG, most likely I am going to boot the first person and grab him. Why? 'Cause in my opinion it would be stupid not to, you are still in the "forming" phase of a party and if you have an assurance(sp?) of a good player rather than someone you just met than why wouldn't you take the good player. Of course, there is a chance that someone could outplay your friend, but in the end of partying..I have met more newbies than I have good, solid, and smart players. I know that might suck for the person getting booted, but it is a part of the game. Because unlike you won't think it, time is of the essence and I myself would rather get 5k a hour than 2k a hour just to make someone happy.

If what meowthy said is true than he/she (sorry I don't know o.o) sent you a tell apoligizing which would be rather mature and not 'snooty' in any way.

Idea of a blacklist for me is just to add the really really really bad people. Since on my way to where I am now I have a total of 3 people on it. I am really tentative with using it since you never know if what they did was wrong was based on a "bad day or something weird" I don't know.

I could see why somepeople would base invites on ranks of the people. Of course you are insured with a more expieranced player, but of course you might be missing out on the coolest person in the game. I know I have never done that and probably never will. Character's playing ability>rank.

Also with being in JP party they will be communication issues. I was in a 5 person one on my whm in quifim and I never had a clue what was going on and I was hella confused. I just followed them around and healed them along the way. Sorta made me realize what it was like to be in an all NA party as a *** player and how you could end up thinking all english players are newbies since I saw people doing certain things like a blm that dia'd and bio'd right in a row. Its just that the auto-translator is so limited that you can bearly ever get acrossed what you wanted to say or even hold a mini-converstation.

Anyways, that's it.

OK, Celestia only gave half the story...

"I hope you're happy, you got your way into the party by replacing me."

A very censored version, if you're going to quote yourself do it right please.

Quote:
I think to myself, you gotta be kidding me, these people don't even know me and they're dropping me from the party because I'm not above rank 5?

You're WAY off. It had absolutely nothing to do with your rank at all. All it had to do with was miscomunication between myself and the JPN leader. A few seconds before you appeared in the PT list the leader said he would invite Meowthy because we are a semi-set PT (we don't exp unless we get invited in the same PT). As far as I knew you left on your own and after what you said to Meowthy immediatly after leaving PT I saw no reason to /tell you and just proved how imature you are. On other jobs that I level my rank is higher than the whole PT combined sometimes so don't tell me I don't like people who are lower rank.

This was taken way out of context. You were looking for something to pull when we got the link so it wasn't like you weren't prepared to get a monster. I think I remember saying thanks in /say, but if nobody did I apologize.
