Astral Ring for 1k!!Follow

Thats right folks.

I am having my first raffle. Bismarck Server only, because thats the only Server i am on. I had a friend Suggest it to me, so i am doing it.

Raffle Tickets are 1000 Gil each, and you can buy as many as you want. and tonight at Midnight, i am gonna draw a name. How you ask? Is this a Scam, and is Hiptaru going to run away with everybodies hard earned 1-5k gil and live it up on a island with his sexy Mithran Girlfriend?

No, I am going to hold a raffle 3 times a week. The bigger it gets, the better the prizes will be. If anybody is reading this, and is really interested in participating, and meeting alot of new people, then give me a /tell in game sometime if i am on.

And as for the person who gave me the idea, i am going to give them lots of Gils, they just dont know it yet. I bet they are Dreading it. haha.

Don't the Astral Rings go for 200,000 or so?

You'd have to sell 200 tickets just to break even..

Well, i have been telling people i have a generator program. But to tell you the truth, as silly as it really seems, I am a little embarrassed to admit it. when somebody buys a ticket, i have little mini post-it notes and i write thier name on one for every ticket that they buy.

If i can figure out how to put video from my camcorder to the computer and for people to actually see it realtime, i would actually do that also.

and as for the Question about timezone, i live in TX. so i believe its CST. correct?

Well the winner was Zechz!! i did have one person get really mad and say lots of mean things, but hey, there is usually one in the crowd right?

well, i lost money on this Raffle, i only sold about 100 tickets in all. But Hopefully, it will get bigger and i can pull a profit on the next one.

Ok I already posted about this raffel thing on Tweeds post about it..but I want to make a comment here since there is more info here.

This is being run based on the word that Hiptaru is writing your name down on a post-it note?!?

I'm not questioning Hip's integrity but this just seems like a can of worms waiting to be opened. Headache for all involved Hiptaru and all the people who play...bad news.

The problem dosn't come from this particular raffel, but wait till other start doing this and are not quite honest about the results....you could set this up for a straw man con in a big way.

All you have to do is say that the "Winner" is a mule that you create or have a friend in on the scam and split the winnings and actually don't loose anything...scam, scam, scam. I would not reccomend anyone play a raffel in game as there is no way to authenticate the results.
