I'm sharing this information here, since it will most likely help you all out in your travels.

Cruising Ebay this afternoon, just looking to see what I could find on FFXI (because I'm bored at work and do such things) and I found this:

Final Fantasy XI Kiam Level 75 Hume Dragoon Bismarck

I checked PlayOnline's site, but you can't report TOS violations through email or over the phone, they must be done in game.

Seeing as the character in question is on your server, you're more adept to handle it than I am, whether by notifying POL, or simply blisting him and spreading the word.

People like this make me sick. End of story.

EDIT: Since I reported the seller to Ebay around 3PM EST this afternoon, it has since been taken down. I'm sure it won't stop him from selling the account, but at least it made his life a tad more difficult. /shrug

Never seen this person, not even once.

Heh, maybe we should buy it just to sell off all the stuff and then sell the gil on IGE for even more money XD

I didn't see one, but did he have a disclaimer about "you're not buying this character but rather the time spent...." bullcrap? If not, BUSTED!

Well, I reported this person (and two others, one selling gil and one selling another account) to Ebay, and they said something will be done in 24-48 hours, so we'll see, I guess.

Hell, if SE isn't gonna so anything about it... y'know?

there is the argument with Gil selling that, you can sell the time spent farming the Gil. as if say you pay your best friend to play for a few hours and hunt Lizzy while you are at work. the Gil sellers just look at it like they already did the farming for you, you are buying Gil = to the amount of time spent. so something along those lines.

Gil selling dosn't bother me. character selling dose

First off, With a good player Dragoon's rock. All you Dragoon haters need to take a wiff of the Wyvern poo on your shoulder. Yarr! :O

Second, Accounts are NON-TRANSFERABLE. Meaning, The original credit card cannot be changed. The account will forever be on the credit card that was givin' at original creation of the character. So, That should stop any common sense bearing person. You sell it = Lawsuit, You buy it=******.

So, Lets all take a moment to laugh at this fellow.

Pretty sure this is wrong, I started playing with another Credit Card and changed it to my Check Card a couple months in. Unless the first card's info is stored somewhere else that I don't know about, which is possible ^^

You can change the card. I've done it. How else would you pay if you got a new card or your bank changed cards? You can change all information including card information, phone number, address (some people do move...); the only information you cannot change is the name the copy was registered with.
