ok, today was it. warrior job gose into storage. i added over 20 hours to my play time, doing nothing but sitting with my flag up, trying to make my own.

so now what to be, i liked tanking. but loved doing damage. so ya, i love my warrior... but Bismarc dosn't. so its Pld, or Nin... i will deside later tonight

I'd say NIN/WAR. It's a solid combination and if you keep your job up, there's infinitely less downtime. I'll be the first to admit, though, it's very gil intensive, even if you make your own powders.

Yup go for PLD I think. Not as much gil as NIN, incredible tank, very popular, and fun to most people. Both jobs are fun I think.

i think i'm going with nin, despite the cost. the reason to me is

1. it is over all more effective then pld tanking. down time wise. though pld is a more consistant tank. i can't get blink off. i drop fast

2. more usefull subjob. pld dosn't sub into anything. nin can sub into rng, war, thf and a few others, those being the main three

3. it needed to be leveled up anyways. i still have my dream of getting warrior to 75. and nin is the sub for that level

ninja tanks might get the boot after the next update:

"- The effect of the ninjutsu Utsusemi will be completely removed by area attacks."

that includes crabs' "Bubble Shower", flies' "Cursed Sphere", etc.

I was also wondering if we may see a drop in nin tanks after the AoE rule is implemented.

As far as taking a long time to get parties as a warrior, I can feel that pain. To get from 41-45 (where I am now) I waited and waited and waited for parties. It hurt I waited so long. Finally I gave in and did what several people suggested: I built my own party. I was very nervous about it, but it turned out to be a pretty good party. I've also started putting my flag up anytime I've got enough time for a party, even if I'm doing something else (exceptions being helping ls or missions or whatnot). I've gotten a couple of suprise invites that way, and some very good parties.

I"m going to stick war out to the end; I can just taste level 74 to be a full blink tank...
