^_^ I never blisted you to begin with, but I'm glad to hear you're gonna cut back on the /sh. I haven't played in your casino thingy, so maybe you already do this, but maybe you could find an uncrowded area of each city and stick to that one spot. That way, if someone wants to play, they'll just have to run by to see if you're there, so you won't have to /sh as much but will still get players. Just a thought in case you weren't already doing this.

Apology accepted. Good luck on your casino business and thanks for approaching this in a more mature manner. I'm sure many peoples view of you has changed.

We'll see. I'll take you off my blacklist, but I won't hesitate to put you back on if you just start up again.

It's good to see you being mature about it. It's rare.

I don't have a problem with you, Hiptaru, but have you considered maybe using /say instead of /shout? If you're in a high-traffic area, /say would work just as well, and you'd probably actually get more attention, since so many people turn /shout off.

'course, this might prompt some people to turn /say off, but they weren't going to be your customers to begin with, so no loss there.

I've never had anything against you either, Hiptaru. And I agree with Cutriss that you should keep it in /say. Maybe /shout it once or something when you start, then keep the rest in /say? It takes a lot to do a big apology like this. Thank you for it. ^^

hey thanks guys, i appreciate the kind words.. What i am actually doing now is paying people who refer customers to me, they get 35% of the winnings. And when i do get people in a group that want to gamble, i get them all in a party, and talk in /chatmode party. I was on for about 5 hours last night, did anybody see any casino spam that got out of hand?

if so, please tell me so i can work it out.. thanks.

I must say....I have Blisted my share of casino shouters, but the ones I have a problem with are the shouters that just hit their macro non-stop. I am glad to see that you run a more respectable establishment =)

My question now is.....do you get free drinks at your casino?

Hmmm, well I just saw you in /sh for your casino in Sandy this morning and /blist added you immediately, but after reading this, I'll be a good sport and take you off. Maybe in a week or two I'll take the 20 other people on my /blist off as well. Was just way too much spam for me, but I refuse to turn shout off since there might actually be something important on there.

Good luck to you Hiptaru.

Just wanted to share something I witnessed last night.

I was in Sandy last night after getting tired of logging. I wasn't in a hurry so thought I would /sit and wait for a /shout to come up about teleports.

I spent the time (about 25 minutes or so) just observing the goings-on and listening to conversations.

Hiptaru happened to be there so I sat down next to his casino to just observe. He didn't /shout as much as the OTHER casino going on >< and from what I saw was very respectful towards everyone.

The person that was annoying was the one player who did nothing but stand right next to Hiptaru for 20 minutes and gripe about casinos *non-stop*. All he did was insult people playing and kept saying "It's a ripoff it's a ripoff it's a ripoff"

Well, duh! (no offense, Hiptaru) Anyone who can think would know the odds aren't in their favor. But if they want to play, what's the big deal?

Then the complaining player for some reason /shouts "I actually have a life. I don't play this game 24/7". Not too sure where that came from. Maybe somebody told him something in /tell?

Anyway..I couldn't resist saying if he had a life then why was he standing there for the past 20 minutes complaining?

I guess all I'm saying is if you have a problem with casinos just /blist the player or turn the /shouts off and be done with it. No use standing there griping non-stop.

Personally I had a good impression of Hiptaru so I hope people aren't pre-judging him based on the casino running. This guy was being a real jerk to Hiptaru and Hiptaru never said one mean thing back.

Heh. I'm waiting for a good opportunity to use:

/sh (Silence) (Can I have it?)

I haven't been to Sandy in a while, so I haven't had a good chance yet. :P

Congrats Hiptaru for the apology. Although I never did blacklist you, I can honestly say that the temptation did come up more than once...

I am not a fan of casinos, well, at least in the VR world ;). But to actually see someone run a respectable establishment (and not do it inside the Goddess Temple or Heaven's Tower, places that are just simple sacred to the inhabitants of Vana'diel)...heck, I might even come and gamble at it.

You ever thought of putting up a schedule of where you might be and when somewhere lol?

Hehe, i remember that guy in Sandy, his name was Savont. Some people are just rude like that. I used to let stuff like that get on my nerves, but now all i do is kill them with kindness.

I remember i ran to the other side of the tent i was standing at, and cast invisible on myself and then went and stood behind him, and he started talking about how i knew i was a ripoff and thats why i ran away, and i just /poke him and he us like uhhh where is he? then i was telling everybody to give him a hug, because he seemed like he needed one.

He was getting soo mad because i wasn't loosing my cool and getting mad at him..

Well, once again, i want to Thank every single one of you that has given me a 2nd chance, and to all of you who have said such nice things about me. Please play the raffle so that i can continue to have events like this, i am pretty sure i am gonna lose gil on my first 2 raffles, but its still gonna be fun.

ok then, thanks again.
