My worst day ever in Final Fantasy XIFollow

Heya i'm razure lvl 51 blm,

I have been trying for 2 weeks trying to get a friggin ice staff but to no avail or even being close.

Today with my friend tachwan i decided that we would go do a bcnm 40.
So we assembled a pt together and i figured it'd be worth my while since tach and I were gonna split the good because i dont have enough seals.

7 hrs later, 1 battle in brd leaves because he's greedy.
Tachwan finds that the orb he brought was broken so no money for me.
So we do it for everyone else, and I didn't know why i was wasting my time ; ; .
The rng yells at me because right after franz died i had to go afk without saying anything because of something urgent in RL.
So its seems my pt turned on me when i made it.
Tachwan also got pissed at me for getting emotional at one point because i got pissed at rng for yelling at me.

So a day wasted, no money for me.
Best friend now annoyed at me.


Call me greedy or w/e but try to get something for 2 weeks and no even close.
I'm considering quitting now.
This game is as much as a time sink as a black hole.
I've got school, sports, and reading to get too and if 2 weeks nets me about 30k hen this is insane.

You're a lvl 50 blm...you could get more money than that just farming Palborough. Don't try to get all your money all at once; build up to it. At your level it won't be difficult. Hell at MY level it wouldn't be difficult and I can't AoE the crap outta quads =)

Hey, I kinda know how you feel (I lost an orb for not too good a reason that I wont get into and got absolutely nothing from the other orbs either).

I know it may not be what you're looking for but If you want a farming buddy, me and Cmagen usually gang up on some worthwhile mobs a few times a week, you could come hang with us and get your ice staff money. It's a little slower then BCNM but it's a little more of a sure thing.

I'm getting my thf to 15 as well, but we have always gone out without it thus far, since neither of us has gotten out thf high enough yet. We usually do decently but every once in a while we do hit a rough patch.

I may be able to get to 15 in the next couple of days with my thf. I'll have Mags let you know the next time we go hunting. I'd be more than happy to take a lesser cut of the profits for you (I am usually ok in the money department so I never really need to save for anything).
