I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried reinstalling the software, tried getting extra files to see if the software will run, nothing works. I'm running Windows 7, not sure if that's the problem? Anyway, any advice would be great. Thanks.

The item collector isn't working since it hasn't been patched since the last game update. Every time eqgame.exe is patched, the item collector has to be patched again or else it can't read the client <-> server traffic.

I believe SwiftyMUSE is working on it.
