If this isn't considered a bug, it should be. I almost went and reposted in a thread because I thought a post a made before was eaten. Luckily I realized someone probably got butthurt and started something that resulted in everything getting nuked. Don't see why my post had get nuked as well, but oh well.
When there's no notification that a post was nuked, and no evidence that the post exists even through something only the poster can view, chances are you're going to think the forum screwed up and remake the post.

Looks like the post got nuked by Vlorsutes because it was a reply to one of the other posts he nuked. As to why they aren't visible, nuked posts aren't supposed to be visible.

I understand them not being visible in the thread.. but my post history is only viewable by myself. It's not even the entire post that's supposed to be listed, just the tidbit. It could be done. I'm guessing it would get annoying quickly though. probably a good 70% of the non spammer posts we nuke are inadvertant double posts of some sort. Some people tend to somehow do that more often than others. The others are usually either posts that they knew better, and did it anyways, or were starting a flame war and one of us nuked the entireity of the flame war in the thread, which would generate a mess of PM's.
