Tried changing my avatar via my iPhone and it's not saving the setting. Keeps defaulting to no avatar
Hm, it seems to be working fine on my iPhone. Try refreshing the page first and see if that helps. If you're still having problems, what version of iOS are you running?

Live Preview doesn't work from http://wow.forumtest.allakhazam.com/uposts
This should be working, and sometimes it does. I'm still trying to work out why it sometimes doesn't. I'll see what I can do about this, but the forums may go live before it is fixed. In the mean time you should be able to force tooltips on in your Forum Settings (either from the User Settings or from the top of forum & thread pages) by disabling and then re-enabling them.

Please give us the option to keep using the current skins if we want to. I could learn to live with the new one if absolutely necessary but I MUCH prefer the existing one. It's cleaner and simpler, and that's key when it comes to forums IMO. I'm not here to admire the shiny buttons and borders and sidebars. I'm here to read posts.
All the buttons and stuff are brighter and more vivid and... bubbly... and the actual content of the posts seems to get lost in it all. Please let us continue using the current, cleaner (IMO) version if we want.

We can't reasonably be running multiple versions of the forums. There are a lot of changes that are happening with this update, and to also support the old version would be complicated and a great deal of work. We hope you can adjust to the new one and will enjoy the new features that come with it.

Other stuff:
I'd consider moving the post rating back down under the avatar with the rest of the poster info. Right now that one bit of information is off on it's own and is easily missable.

With this update the post information has been organized so that details about the post are along the top, and details about the author are along the left. The current rating of the post also makes sense to be next to the rating arrows.

Also, guru and admin names are hard to read on the new WoW skin because of the color contrast on the new side bars.
I assume you're using the Parchment theme on WoW? I'll see about making some tweaks to give those better contrast.

I like the new look and features, particularly the post preview pane on mouseover. However, this same feature is causing me a world of misery when browsing the forum from a tablet. Is it possible to disable mouseover features on mobile (or unrecognized) browsers to prevent this?
You can disable Mouseover Previews in your Forum Settings (either from the User Settings or from the top of forum & thread pages). This setting is saved per browser, and per device, so you can disable it on your tablet or phone and still use it on your desktop. Detecting mobile devices and having that disabled by default is something we'll probably add soon, but for now you can simply disable them.

Is there any way to reduce the size of the video preview in posts? Currently they're huuuuge and sort of take up the entire screen, meaning your scrolling action comes to a sudden halt the moment you scroll onto one.
Adding options for this would add too much complexity to using the tags for it, but perhaps we'll reduce the size in general.

Edit: The bottom breadcrumb thing doesn't have mouse-over effects.
Yes, this is because it would be cut off very quickly. In a future update to our path/breadcrumb system we may be able to enable dropdowns there.

This is probably pretty little, and maybe only bothers me but the quote box on wow classic doesn't feel distinguished enough from the rest of the post. If you kept the quote box dark but kept the rest of the post lighter, like on the left hand side with the username and stuff I think it would help out.
I'll make some adjustments to this.

I only quickly skimmed so I apologize if this was already answered but I noticed a follow button. Does that mean if we check that we could conceivably get emails letting us know if there have been more posts? Cause that would be cool!
The Follow option allows you to be notified at the top of any page on the sites when there are new posts to threads you are following. While we'd like to also add email notifications for this, there are a great deal of issues with that, and so there are no current plan to do so.
