Hey guys sorry to post this but I am stuck. I have been searching everywhere but alas I cannot find anything that tells me how to make mouseovers on my ZAM FFXIV posts (want to have them for my THM guide) and there used to be a Sticky somewhere that told users how to use all the (UCC?) codes e.g. bold italics etc - just cant find them. Its been a little while since I last used the forum because I have been being tight lipped because I was on FFXIV Beta (NDA), but I'm fully posting on ZAM again now and want to make the most of my posts. One of the recent things I have been trying to do is use the '[quote]' but cant figure out how to do it. On the Beta site its a matter of clicking the quickquote button and it puts it into your reply thread but there isnt anything on ZAM forums is there?

Thank you for the reply JerekDain, but as you can probably tell I am not that literate in all of this. I tried below but this didnt do anything. Where do I get the link from? When I choose 'direct Link' the page just seems to refresh and nothing happens.

Sorry to be so dumb on this...
I'm not sure what to link... I cant link via my pictures stored on my ZAM account because they either give me the imagecode or a link for 'direct link' which just seems to refresh my page when I click it.
I have treid using the images that I have stored on Photobucket, but again each of the types of links dont seem to work.
I have read the markup help (very useful anyhow) but it doesnt specify how I link an image.
Really sorry to be a nuisance on this but I'm really keen to put these types of mouseovers on my Thaumaturge Guide.

If you reply to my post then quote me you can see the way we have coded out links and how JerekDain has made the link to a FFXI page, my links are to my images from my account using the same code structure. His pops up, mine just pops up with the address/link not the picture and thats whats confusing me :)
Still cant figure out what Im doing wrong.....

Ok, basically, you can't link your own images for mouseovers, and expect them to work like the images uploaded to the Zam database.
They're not going to work like the items already in the Zam system.
Maybe this is something you can petition for a change, but the way you're trying, does not currently work.
Even within your test, you aren't linking the same way.
